Here are shots of the bale & rivet from my magenta twiggy that I just got today from Raffaello. It looks real to me. I would say the leather is veiny but not dry. The bag already seems soft and kind of smooshes when its on the floor. So tell me, does it look authentic to you? I'm about the check the serial number now as well.

i'm cross-posting this from the other thread as it's relevant to the subject proper.

i just got a f/w06 Black Box from Raffaello, r/o. to have been really diligent, i should've posted in the authentication thread but i doubt they'd provide more pics. truth be told, they sounded very defensive when i asked them about the season/year of the discontinued style (i also recently put up a pic of a camel-like bbag in the authentication thread. they'd lumped every colour under 2008!) - they said they're under 2008 cos they're supposed to fall in that category!


the rivets and bales are good, i hope!

I actually ment to order one from Rafaello, but hesitated because of the issues we've discussed in these threads. When I finally decided to take the chance, it was sold out!!

Their return policy is not so great. You have to ship it back to Italy (paying for postage/insurance/confirmation yourself) and they charge a 10% restocking fee.
