Quota Bag Thread

@OuiCestLaVie I totally forgot myself too but the sticky at the top of the bag offer thread instructs that we take any quota discussion to this thread instead so I’m answering here instead to help the mods keeping the offer thread an offer thread only.

And to answer your latest question, no, Constance are not quota bags in the US in anything. There have been rumors of it possibly changing but so far that’s still the case.

Thanks a lot! And sorry about unknowingly breaking the rule...

Who told you this? A current H employee? In the United States? If that were the case, how would anyone get a bag in January? If your SA/SM directly told you that, with no room for having misunderstood, then I recommend packing up and moving your business to a different USA store completely because that is pretty unfortunate and unique.
As a personal example, I have received three quota bags this year, all size 25, and outside of bag purchases have not spent even close to 10k on other items in 2020. Across two stores. But I am a multi year regular client at both.

can I ask what cities your stores are in?

I understand some are saying to stick with one store as to not ruin my relationship with my SA but currently my SA is not in the city I live so I would also like to establish a relationship here - to shop regularly and not so much by phone. Would it be ok to do this? I do love b/k and would love to be offered these at both places. open question to you and the forum. Thank you

I would not recommend doing this. It would be fine to switch stores going forward to the store nearer you, but I would not try to maintain both stores at the same time. Purchases made at each store will only help you with that store (and likely hurt you with the other store) and neither store will see you as “their client”. Unless you can make it worth their while ($$$$) to use one of their bag allotments on “another store’s client” then I would stick with whichever store works for you in the long term.

Not under the same account. Your profile is linked nationwide and they will see what you bought in other stores. Depending on specific SA/SM styles as well as how big of a purchase you make on vacation, it may be ok, but generally speaking not advisable at all and will greatly hinder your bag offer chances with your home store (who may think that you are taking your business elsewhere).

Some (maybe even many?) people do it by having their significant other set up a separate account in a second store. This way you have two separate profiles (with two people) and each shops at their perspective store.

Correct. If a B/K with the least amount of hassle is your ultimate goal, window shop and then ask your regular SA for the items that you wish to purchase.

thank you!

I read this elsewhere but they mentioned that different cc’s, phone numbers, and addresses need to be on file, is this correct?

@momoc @acrowcounted may I ask if the same rules apply overseas? We travel typically (if we aren’t counting pandemic year) to Mexico, Canada, and Europe. I cannot buy in those countries either?

The profiles are not linked internationally so it's fine if you shop in other countries (although I think it may now be linked within at least certain parts of EU? Not sure, I am not in Europe!). There has been rumors of having everything linked internationally but that's been a long time rumor and has not become the reality so far.

Separate countries are thus far not connected to one another so your shopping there will be unseen by your “home” SA, unless you tell them.

thank you!

Europe is devided into countrygroups. So far the SA just sees your account within that group, but they see as well, that you are active in a different group, though not what/ how much you bought/spent. I buy in at least two of these groups, but have never encountered any difficulties. I think, that strange game you all talk about, is not existent here. Maybe I am wrong, if so, let me know.

Ladies, I need some advice/input on what I should do in this particular situation. So I finally got offered my second quota bag last week. I waited for over 8 months for my second bag offer and already spent over $25k+ after my 1st bag offer (and my pre-spend on the 1st bag is also over 2:1). However, when I went to my appointment to pick up my bag, my SA tried really hard to talk me into buying a fine jewelry piece that costs over half of a B30. She seemed really disappointed when I said I need to think about it and that it might have to wait until next year because I’ve been spending way too much this year especially lately.

Even though she’s been slow in offering me bags, she hadn’t really pushed me hard to buy things. Maybe it was because every time I go visit I buy a lot? But this time I felt she really wanted me to buy that piece of jewelry for some reason. And I read somewhere that it could be a sign that the SA really needs help with that particular category to achieve her monthly sales goal or something along that line.

Honestly I think I’ll get that piece sooner or later, but I would rather give myself a break for now, unless getting it now is going to help her achieve her sales goal and make her happy, and hopefully lead to a bag offer in January maybe? I’m not sure if my store ‘zeros out‘ purchase history and wants clients to do another round of pre-spend in a new calendar year. I know what many of you have experienced is that once you are considered an establish and loyal client and have been offered a few bags, you don’t have to spend that much in a new year to be offered a bag because they look at how much you’ve spent in previous years. I don’t know how true this is with my store so I’m hesitsnt.

Please advise what would be the best way to handle this situation because the last thing I want to is to upset my SA. TIA!
