Quota Bag Thread

The only thing I got from the FSH before is a kelly 32 in 2010.. but in this trip, I had an online appointment and spent almost 2000 euro on some items with the B25..

If my history in severs and George V counts, I spent the the total of 5500 euro from both store bought 2 gold rings and some small items on my wishlist..

But I think if you get an online appointment your history doesn’t matter..

My sister got rejected in all her online attempts, but had some items reserved for the total of 2000, and also got a B25 but with the help of a sweet SA who told her if you didn’t get an appointment till your last day, she would push for one..

Hope this helps..
Thanks for the info!!!

I'm new to the hermes journey and the quota bag system. I've been reading heaps on here and so thankful for everyone's stories here!! So helpful and informative. I'm also enjoying everyones eye candies but with everyone eye candies the instant gratification comes to play.
Do I go the boutique route or the reseller route.
I'm located in Brisbane Australia and I have no idea how long the wait is here.
I've tried to ask my SA but she hasn't given me any hints and I don't have a budget to be spending thousand and thousands to continue 2/3: 1 ratio to get the BIRKIN /KELLY. Or my patience to wait for 2-5 Years. . Or is this completely normal in the hermes world?

To get a quota bag you can go on wait list (if they are open) and it will likely take many years if you get a call for a bag at all (in Australia). If you spend 0.75-1:1 in a semester (not including bags) with the same SA and build a relationship you are likely to be offered a quota bag in Australia but it may not be to your exact specifications especially if you want a sort after size or colour. Reseller you will pay a premium but you can select your specifications.

I've started my purchase history with my boutique this semester however, I've only just settled on my SA... does all my previous spending goes out of the window? I don't think I'm close to my quota yet minus my bag purchase and the yr is coming to the end does the purchase history reset?
Sorry for all the questions, it seems so hard in Australia!!

Thanks in advance
Thank you "this_is_rj"

It is very hard in Australia. My understanding is that only purchases that are made at your store that your SA receives commission on that count towards them asking the SM for a quota bag for you. I think the SM can see online purchases etc. but the biggest factor is what you have spent at your store. I don't think that purchase history resets until you get a bag, but you need to keep regularly spending to get a bag(s) in Australia. Spend to get a bag is discretionary, so you may not have to spend as much depending on what you are after and your relationship with your SA. You should let them know what you are after now, so they can look out for your dream bag, they are not mind readers and won't know that you want a B/K unless you tell them.

I've let her know of my wish list and let them I'm super flexible with colours/leathers/sizes as I know it's super hard get the exact specification you want. Any item online I wanted I've asked my SA to order to it in so she gets the commission.
Is it true that leather good don't count?
What are the best commission item?
Thanks

Does anyone know if Kelly Danse is a quota bag? My SA told me since its so limited it would consider as a quota bag at my home store. However, some people said its not.
It shouldn't be quota. The kelly ado was initially part of quota when they rereleased it, but they changed it soon after. If the danse is considered quota, I assume it'll be the same as the kelly ado.

I've also heard no, but because how hard it is to get at your store I can totally believe that they do that. I feel sometimes even within the same country stores have different rules based on supply and demand.

Do you know if it’s 2 bags in a 12 month period? Or from Jan - Dec? Which means if I’ve purchased in Dec, it would reset again in Jan? Sorry to sound pedantic, but I’m back in Paris twice again in Jan and would like to optimise my chances of a purchase!
