Hi,
I'm told online (U.S.) purchase quota for charms are 3 and bags are 2 per season. I purchased a Evie and GP but had to return the GP. Even though returned, does the GP purchase count toward the quota? I am new to Hermes and did not even know there was a quota otherwise would have chosen more wisely :shocked:

Since I hear different stories about how much one had to spend before they could buy a Birkin or a Kelly bag, it makes me wonder if different SAs at the same store have different quotas to fulfill before they can offer it?

That is a very interesting slant on the question.

I'm sure I have read something on here suggesting that more recently employed SAs might not be in the same position to offer Bs Ks or Cs as their colleagues of longer standing in a store.

AFAIK there's no actual number attached, since you can get a bag as a walk-in. But in at least two of my stores you need manager approval to offer a Birkin or Kelly (there's an actual form to sign) and only SAs at a certain level can fill out the form themselves.

So is it taboo to ask about it as a first time customer or do SAs generally want you to buy stuff prior to asking about it? I just don’t know if they get offended if you tell them I am looking to surprise someone with a Birkin

Mods......For some reason a few posts about spend to acquire a B/K/C have been moved into the quota thread - quota meaning bags per year. The OP in the moved thread (post #198) meant spend per SA, not bag quota.
