I paid my dues. My SA told me that I could have gotten "that" bag if I really wanted to. She would send me to the "other" store if I really liked it. She saw my reaction when I saw that bag. And it was nothing like when I saw my exotic C's.

Another reptile without the sparkles is more than good enough for now.

How strict are the Hermes boutiques on 2 Kelly’s or Birkins per year or one every six months? Would it be possible to get a bag 3-4 months later from France?

Any tips or further information is very much welcomed.. :)

It depends on which country you're in. If the country systems speak to each other, then you cannot get more than 1 per block (Jan-June, or July-Dec) without an exception.
If the store systems don't speak to each other, then you can. And it should not be a problem.
The quota limit is per system, so you'd be held to just one per 6 months in that country as well.

One time, I had asked for a Kelly in Bleu Electric, and was told it could be up to a year long wait. A few months later, I was offered a Kelly Au Galop, which was lovely! So I bought it. 6 weeks later, I got the call about my other bag. Everything is such a crap shoot with Hermes.

Cannot be explained over few paragraphs here
Spend some time reading if you're really keen in hermes

It’s not for me, I’ll be traveling to Paris in a month and my sister had her eye on one for a while, but I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get since I got one from France (the system is linked between stores and cities) in September

I agree I have experienced the same in different cities. I wasn’t sure how strict is France/Paris though

Thanks will do! Am new here so still finding my way around. Although from my experience sometimes you get twoin a few months sometimes it is more difficult to do so.

It’s my first day on the blog, still finding my way around. :) I was looking for more recent posts about the topic, will search a bit more hopefully will get something more recent and specific to Paris.
