Also depends on whether the store is owned by Hermes or not. For example the store in Nice, France cannot look up purchase history in FSH. I was surprised but it seems like Nice store is owned by an authorized retailer

It has been painful. And I was on my way to Paris to "cheat" on my SA (with her permission). Now that rumor has it that the systems are linked, I won't want to risk my B with scales and sparkles over something else. I tried to get my Mom to help me and she already told me to take a hike.

I have found that there is no H "rule" that cannot be broken, and something tells me that if you are standing there with your platinum card ready to buy a diamond/croc birkin, the SM would be hard pressed to deny you.

Yep! Store will sell, or better still, source a diamond croc Birkin if requested. I have seen several on display over the years, ready to be sold to anybody who were willing. No quota at all.

That might be true where you are. The only way to get one where I am is to "pay your dues" and then podium order one to spec. There are simply too many who are willing and they can make us buy more stuff. So why not? That is way better business than selling something on display to a total stranger who might be a reseller (some stores do try to avoid selling to them) and might not have the same addiction as the other willing participants.

Perhaps I will plan a side trip to the store when I am out there for business just to see the Birkin in display. I doubt it will be the same spec I want. But if you do see a Himalaya B or K with diamonds, please let me know.

Diamond croc bags are all push orders. You can't order them at podium.

The general rule in the USA for the 99% of customers is one B/K per semester which is Jan-Jun and July-Dec. Exceptions can be made but are rare and often well earned.
