Junkempo, I think some of the cheaper jades are equally gorgeous in their own right. They are also universes in themselves like this one from JoJo that is 550white jelly.jpg Here is another red confetti bangle for 1660confetti jade7c893a9d8de89c8e576c556353f7b02d.image.170x122.jpg

I also just ordered a gorgeous nephrite jade bangle from Allan at Jade Divers. He sells a lot of West Coast native nephrite and jadeite. This material is from a privately owned mine in Montana. The guy who owns it is quite old now, but Allan bought some rough from him. He's going to make it in my size with a flat interior and rounded exterior. Here are photos of the ones he has now and the material which I think jives Jadeite a run for it's money..yukon3.jpg

Hi Claire, I guess she took pity on me as I kept going to her shop to admire her pieces. I was told that many tried to wear the bangle but couldn't slip it on. When I managed to wear it, she gave me a good price. :)

Petals, 10 bangles is so great! Would love to see them all together and for you to point out your favorites. I hope you get that 25th anniversary bangle! For the price it has got to be outstanding! Love to see it too.

clairejune...I actually saw something like that yesterday from the store that I bought the winter melon color bangle. But the bad news is that, that bangle has a crack line on it... :( Best of luck in finding your dram bangle....i do believe that you will be able to find it someday...a very nice one too!

I would love to do that...but probably need to wait till Monday when hubby isn't around...hehe...don't want him to think I have that much secret money to buy them in...sssssh :graucho:

Thanks petals, I keep reminding myself that I've got time. I'm also really happy with my new 40th birthday bangle from JoJo that I first posted a few pages back. Daisy, that is great and maybe in some way that jade chose you. When I first saw your picture, my first thought was happiness. I bet it totally works with your body energy. It really seems like a union somehow. Hope that doesn't sound too hokey.

BreadnGem, I think your bangle is beautiful...it looks very soothing. I have one that looks similar to yours too...it has a very light green and lavender color all around the bangle... it looks very milky...but I love the way it looks

Red jade (Chinese say "blood jade") is quite uncommon, even in Asia. I think it will suit my skin tone, haha! Oh well, but that size is too large for me. Not that I have the budget for it now! But definitely will keep an eye out. Anyone see something similar but cheaper pls alert me!

Clairejune, your nephrite bangle is heartstoppingly beautiful! Never knew nephrite can look this good! Wow. Mind sharing how much it costs?
