Red jade (Chinese say "blood jade") is quite uncommon, even in Asia. I think it will suit my skin tone, haha! Oh well, but that size is too large for me. Not that I have the budget for it now! But definitely will keep an eye out. Anyone see something similar but cheaper pls alert me!

Will do :)

Aww....thanks everyone!

This is one of the prettiest bangles i own. The pics don't show it's true colours very well. It is a pinkish lavendar with olive green patches. I dont wear it cos the size is a little too large on me, but i like to keep it and take it out to admire every now and then, lol. :D

This other one i bought cos it is an interesting bluish green colour. I was fortunate to buy both quite cheaply. This bluish one i got from a street vendor who bought it directly from Myanmar

Love this!

Breadngem, that olive one is so great and I love the delicacy of it. Always thought about getting round ones cuz they have an elegant look. I especially love the blue one, as that's what I've been collecting lately. It's my favorite color. Blue jade is quite rare in any shade and I think it's totally special. My wedding present green/yellow/red one is a bit too big too but I wear it even tho it bangs around more.

Druzy, the nephrite bangle I ordered from Jade Divers, it cost me 300, which is amazing! Mine will be 16mm wide, so wider than the thin ones but not as wide as the thick one. I emailed Allan and asked if he would accept that price and he said yes. Very nice man, I could feel it in his emails. Those 'yukon snow' bangles normally go for 500-1200.

Bread, the olive green patches are v unique. Claire, I don't know about energy... I have always wanted a lavender bangle but when it's on my wrist, I can't stand the colour. Seems to clash with my skin tone. But when I wore my bangle, the colour blends well. Is this energy? :)

Daisy, the energy from jade is subtle, but I feel it's very alive. I would say yes, that is energy, and the right union between your body chemistry and color, and the nature of the jade. That's interesting about the lavender colored bangles. I've known a few others that can't stand them once they are on. Others adore them, like myself!!! Each bangle has its own feeling to it, and each is unique.

Thanks :smile1:. I prefer round bangles cos i feel they have an "old school" vibe. They remind me of those jade bangles grandmothers wear. So vintagey and lovely :D

Daisy, truth be told i find my green-lavender jades make me look a bit washed out, while the darker jades contrast nicely and makes me look fairer. Energy wise they all make me feel good... I find myself reaching for a piece of jade when i feel i need it. For my next purchase I hope to get one that actually matches my skin tone and is of a livelier colours, so i can wear it often! Bonus if it matches most of my outfits too! Tall order, lol!

clairejune, I love jewelry...so I tend to decorate myself like a christmas tree with my wedding/engagement ring, jade or diamond necklace, maybe another ring on my other hand with a watch...lol..hubby said i am hopeless

Silver Mom, my dream bangle was offered to me at $7500 coz it's too small for many people. The other 2 pieces sold for $12,500. That's why I keep looking out for similar deals! Unfortunately none can rival my dream bangle in terms of color saturation. Perhaps it's gone by now, someone with small wrist and ample budget is bound to come along..

Lucky you to find such a great deal. I have tiny wrist too and hardly found my size as I want to wear it snug.
