No. I started my collection about 4 years ago, and I only have 4 handbags remaining on my wishlist. Having said that I’m very content with my current collection and in no rush to go and complete my list (although I can). I’m taking my time to choose which pieces I buy each year from my wishlist for two main reasons 1. It’s rather excessive (for me) to buy 4 or 5 handbags each year. 2. I don’t want to make it easy for myself to spend that amount of money or that buying handbags or spending money is the way to happiness.
I’ve noticed that as I get older and earn more the desire to chase items is inevitable e.g. bigger house, nicer car or sometimes I get this desire to spend money, but I think I’ve got a good control of myself to stop myself from indulging too much, not just on handbags, but also clothing, shoes, jewelry. When I see a whole bedroom converted to walk in closet (it’s not that common in the UK) I find it a little sad. When I designed my closet I purposefully only dedicated room for 12 handbags which was planned from the wishlist at that time, whilst I may have found new bags I’m lusting after, the idea is not go above this number. I realize to a lot of other people 12 is still pretty excessive.
