No. I started my collection about 4 years ago, and I only have 4 handbags remaining on my wishlist. Having said that I’m very content with my current collection and in no rush to go and complete my list (although I can). I’m taking my time to choose which pieces I buy each year from my wishlist for two main reasons 1. It’s rather excessive (for me) to buy 4 or 5 handbags each year. 2. I don’t want to make it easy for myself to spend that amount of money or that buying handbags or spending money is the way to happiness.

I’ve noticed that as I get older and earn more the desire to chase items is inevitable e.g. bigger house, nicer car or sometimes I get this desire to spend money, but I think I’ve got a good control of myself to stop myself from indulging too much, not just on handbags, but also clothing, shoes, jewelry. When I see a whole bedroom converted to walk in closet (it’s not that common in the UK) I find it a little sad. When I designed my closet I purposefully only dedicated room for 12 handbags which was planned from the wishlist at that time, whilst I may have found new bags I’m lusting after, the idea is not go above this number. I realize to a lot of other people 12 is still pretty excessive.

Wanted to update I am currently at purse peace! (For the time being...) Added two more babies to the collection since my last post!

all your bags are black? (not that there's anything wrong with that  )

12 is my number too

Yes haha they are all black!! When I spend so much money I want it to have a great cost per wear and find black the most versatile. Also I tend to wear a lot of neutrals. I like black for going out at night too.

But maybe one day I'll branch out!! I want to put in some caramels, some natural leather ..... All in time! So much for purse peace ;))

So in 2019 when this thread was started I stated that I had purse/shoe peace. That was a lie, not even close to purse peace and don’t get me started about footwear.
I did pick up three incoming bags this past year and rehoused eleven bags. Posting my current bag wardrobe, I am open to any critiquing. Seriously considering putting the black BV Cabat and the BV Nodini on the chopping block. The Cabat is a beauty but it rarely sees daylight and the Nodini doesn’t suit my needs.

Are you at purse peace?
I’d like to be but not yet. There are at least 3-4 more.

What is your current collection?
Loewe Puzzle, Givenchy Antigona Regular and Soft, Celine Luggage, Chanel 19, Polene Beri, Polene Numero Un, Tory Burch Basket, and Coach Madison Pillow. Might sell Tory Burch basket and Polene Numero Un though.

What bags do you still want in order to achieve purse peace?
I’m eyeing LV Alma Ebene, but i want to wear it IRL before deciding. Also would like to have a Chanel Classic, a Moynat, and a Hermes Kelly.

I think I’ve gotten to the point where I am at purse peace! I have a bag for every occasion and am not tempted or really looking for anything else these days, although my last purchases aren’t so far behind me. Really excited to focus on using my main bags more in the new year! I have a few more bags (not pictured) that I don’t reach for as often and a couple up for sale.

I have 3 bags on my wishlist, and I’m wondering if I might have a (temporary) run of purse peace after that? I’m sure more bags will come out that I want, but I guess what I’m wondering is if I get those 3 bags, will I have no wishlist for a few months, or will I just end up finding 3 more bags I want?
