My wishlist has reduced to 3 , so I’m much nearer to purse peace, although they’re all exotics, and very expensive.
However I nearly bought a Valentino bag in July, so May buy other bags, but I’m Trying not to impulse buy bags, as I don’t regularly use all that I have..

The Mario Valentino bag split, so I took it back, exchanged it for fragrance..

I used crocodile bags all through the summer, have just switched bags.
My niece turns 21 next June, I’ve promised her a bag, which may be one of mine, I’m not sure..

I Will reach purse peace..but my holy grail bags are all money which I’m spending on other things atm (clothes and jewellery)..

Next year I’ll definitely buy a new bag-I only have 8 atm..but I have enough although I’d have liked the Valentino..

I’m just worried that once I have a new bag I won’t want to use the others..

I don't know if I'll ever reach "purse peace." I get bored quickly, so I tend to sell my bags that I don't use that often and then fund for another one. I've become addicted to shopping on Fashionphile (especially now that they have layaway), so I'm always searching on their site for bags that I'll like and can use. Right now, I have my eye on two, which isn't bad considering their price, so I may just give in and put them both on layaway.

I think I have “Purse pause”.

I don’t use all of the 8 bags I have, although I’m sure I will do in the fullness of time-there are none to sell, although there are some I would gift to my dear Niece in the future.

My wishlist of 3 stands, but they are all 5 figure sums, which I’m currently spending on jewellery instead.

I think that in 2024 I’ll buy one of the bags on my list and gift at least one of my bags, but I’m not in any hurry to do so-I’m not unhappy with my current line up.

I’m not at purse peace yet, but I can see the light lmao.

My goal for my collection has always been to have one for every colour, and then for certain “basic” colours, one for every occasion in that colour. Once I have those, I would have achieved purse peace and then don’t expect myself to buy something unless it’s really spectacular or to replace something that is ruined beyond repair.

I do have a couple of repeat colours that if I was to start TODAY I probably wouldn’t have purchased, but I love them enough that I wouldn’t rehome, so they’re “extras” in my collection. And there are some gifts that I wouldn’t have bought but now that I have them I use them occasionally.

A bit tired atm so I haven’t posted a writeup of my collection, but I can add that in if there’s interest. Including SLGs I’m probably at roughly 20 odd.

Yes, please write a write up of your collection when you have time❤️

This afternoon I saw the lady I gifted my Hermes Tsako to for her 98th birthday in March-she’s up and about with her son, well on the way to 99, going to visit a friend who is 100!
She was very pleased to see me, and next Thursday I’m taking her to my singing group.
I don’t regret this gift at all!

My collection is... a lot lol but here we go:
- LV Alma BB in lime yellow epi
- LV Bellflower GM in red vernis
- Chanel large Boy in black with ruthenium hardware
- LV 2023 Camera Box Bag
- LV Pochette Metis in reverso canvas
- Cult Gaia box clutch in light pink (this was a gift, rarely carried)
- Gucci Dionysus small in green
- Longchamp le pliage in black large
- Prada small silver sequin bag (no idea if this has a name)
- Bottega Veneta knot clutch in blue silk
- LV Petit Malle in silver epi
- LV Papillon vintage (this was a gift and used now as a 'beater' bag)
- Gucci Linea Totem Butterfly small shoulder bag in black
- Kate Spade banana leaf bag (rarely carried but so cute I don't want to rehome)
- Polene numero un in black/croc (was my daily bag for a couple years but now rarely carried)
- Dior mini miss Dior in light gold
- Chanel seasonal small flap in multicolour pink tweed
- LV Surene MM in monogram canvas and red leather
- Chanel WOC in black
- Valentino Red Plastic and leather trim shopping bag (this was a gift, used as a gym bag)
- Cavalli patterned green shopping tote in plastic coated canvas (this was a gift, used as a beach bag)

I think that's all of them!

My wish list is pretty small now:
- LV cabin luggage to match my Surene, which I love for travel but rarely travel with because my black Boy matches my current cabin luggage better :lol:
- LV Capucines Mini (or BB) in exotic (ostrich/karung) in scarlet
- Navy Chanel small/mini classic/seasonal flap
- Grey YSL medium envelope OR beige YSL medium envelope
- Black patent mini Lady Dior
- White Gucci marmont shoulder bag small
- Orange Gucci Diana bag mini
- LV Alma BB Monopaname (but if I get the beige YSL I wouldn't get this)
- something in grey, jury is still out (unless I get the YSL envelope)

Wow, your collection is beautiful -having gifted the Tsako, I’m not listing my current collection-although I’m happy with it(for Now anyway, not forever), it doesn’t compare with yours!

I hope that you get more from your wishlist in 2024!❤️❤️❤️

Oh my Goodness , suddenly I don’t have purse peace at All!

I’d listed some bags for sale, but removed most of them..
Suddenly yesterday , someone wants to buy my Mario Valentino black Divina tote bag-which is too big for my current needs anyway.
I’ve accepted and hope the sale goes through.

Now, I’m not sure whether or not to relist more, and redo my bag collection for 2024(obviously not my crocodile bags).

Once the Valentino is sorted I’ll decide whether or not to relist, but I’ll start looking for a new bag, although the croc ones fill most of my needs.

6 bags is not a collection!

What new bag are you thinking about? A bespoke or something else? I would love to be down to 15 bags in total so I don't feel overwhelmed with anxiety when I look in my closet. As yourself this....if you would re-buy any of the bags you currently have, then you should keep them. Otherwise it's time to let go. For example, I have a vintage LV Speedy monogram 40 that I don't use much....mostly use it for traveling due to it's size....but I would re-buy that bag in a heartbeat! My Polene #9 bag is another example of a bag I would re-buy. I just love that bag so much!

Yes, I’d like a bespoke bag-but tbh how many navy crocodile bags do I really need-I have 2 already!
I don’t have anxiety from the bags I have-they’re just not not necessarily the bags that I’d like to reach for…maybe sell all of the black ones and buy one really perfect one??
This is the best time of the year to sell, but I don’t want sellers remorse.

I’d like to sell my Laurus ostrich Geneva bag, to help fund a Laurus crocodile bag in a larger size, otherwise I’m planning a trip to Paris next year, so may wait and just buy one bag there..I wasn’t expecting to sell the Valentino , so I haven’t yet decided what to do!
