My Choo was Astronomicsl years ago but I love it, but probably couldn’t replace it, I love exotics but doubt I’ll ever buy an Hermes exotic, like you my needs have changed, I use a bigger bag, I just can’t part with…Any atm…

I should be but I still enjoy looking at other bags. I'm glad to have acquired what I have when I did, and glad I didn't buy some of the bags that were extremely popular for a while but now a bit outdated ( like the Celine luggage tote). On the other hand, a number of my bags are a bit outdated but I still like them. When I look at bags now I wonder how quickly they may go out of style or do they have staying power, like classic flaps, Speedys, B's & K's.
This Is cool you’re nearly there, I keep thinking I am then finding more, but in reality until my Choo wears out I don’t plan to spend giant amounts on a bag, but I’d definitely buy a new version from another company, I’ll love it to death, and I’d replace my Hermes if it didn’t outlive me.
Only about 3 I desperately want-the others I want but would use the money for other things…although some are very tempting, I can get to purse peace if it means keeping everything !
Yes, we’re all here because we love bags wnd will Always look, even when I have “enough” I’ll still be looking, I nearly bought one earlier but resisted, my last purchase hasn’t arrived yet!

I’m waiting to gift some Hermes bags to cousins, but they keep irritating me, so I’ve postponed Lol
I do think it’s cyclical. In 2008, I got rid of almost all of my chanel bags (I wore primarily chanel) and started buying Hermes. at the Peak of my Hermes purchasing, I thought I wouldn’t wear other brands. but, now, I’m finding that some others can be fun. . . Really, if one had more space, this wouldn’t be such an issue. But, I’ve let go of bags only to repurchase them once or twice back at a higher price. So, I’m wary of culling too soon. But, I’m actually more of a RTW clothing person than bags
I wouldn’t gift my only Hermes.
I Do have other unused bags I could gift, but atm I’m shopping my leather jacket wardrobe for gifts and Still have too many left and a wishlist..purse peace is quite a way away xx
Not really; i have 10 bags. Ralph lauren collection/ricky , bvlgari, Michael kors & coach. And 2 snakeskin wallets.
I really wanted a pale pink fendi peekaboo or lady dior. However, the price of the lady dior is ridiculous & i moved to a place that is very very simple.
I think i have seen maybe 2 lvs since i came here so i honestly feel a bit odd carrying fancy bags & wearing bling.
When I got to 10 I thought I was ok-and you DO have nice bags!
I have some that I’ve never used!
But then I was gifted one, bought another 2, and my wishlist grew from there!
I think I have temporarily reached purse peace. Actually seeing how discriminating everyone is, I feel a bit an embarrassed newbie!
I went on a bender in Nov 2021 to Jan 2022. It started with black friday and it escalated. I buy really classic styles that will age well with me, but I also purchased some fun styles from the early aughts like fendi spy bags and chloe paddingtons. I like to say I bought all I ever wanted and the contributing factor is that these big bags I like are not mini bags by far. I also got some pretty good deals.
The last was a YSL lou lou I wanted for ages. I would love to purchase a caviar black classic flap but Chanel and Hermes are well out of my price range. Even the re-sale prices are insane. I will just admire from afar.
What really killed me is that I have not gone ANYWHERE special. I just go to Dr. appts. Even my groceries get delivered now or my significant other picks up whatever we need on the way home. Bless him.
I conditioned the purses and parked them in their dust bags. I have bags for every season, now I need to make them bags for "Every reason".
So purse peace it is for now. After entering the THIRD year of Covid I just yearn to use what I have.

Recently I ordered the Polene Neuf and Huit in the other colors I wanted. I might be at purse peace with my current collection, which is the perfect time for me to go looking around for bags to tempt or test myself with.

I have achieved purse peace. Will always enjoy looking but I'm happy with what I have. Kind of like the feeling after you get married.
