I got mine from couturecaddy this week and they're great! I haven't actually used them yet and I forgot to give one to my sister today but I will!

They are quite strong and look like they are well-made. I am tired of putting my bag in my lap at dinner!

Wow I have never heard of or seen these before. Amazing. I am going to purchase one asap.

Oddly enough the Starbucks on 86th and Amsterdam has hooks mounted under the table for just this purpose...well actually the sign posted said it helps deal with the bag theft problem in NYC.

I bought a bunch from eBay and gave them out as Christmas gifts. My GFs loved them. Have you ever seen the study about how much e-Coli and other bacteria is on women's purses?? They used a blue light and on the bags and it was pretty nasty! I think I look more germ-phobic than high maintenance.

My friend and I were out to dinner the other day and we both used ours. I was originally embarrassed (they seem to get mixed opinions on tpf) and tried to hook my bag on the back of my chair. The restaurant was too crowded and people kept bumping into it. I finally hung it next to my friend's and since it keeps the bag mostly under the table, no one bumped into it again. We ended up having a woman lean over and ask us where we had gotten them, she loved the idea so much.

It really works, and it doesn't have to be ostentatious. Be discreet on where you put it..or don't. We spend too much on bags to put them on a dirty floor.

I bought the Luxe Link and highly recommend it. It's kinda steep at $35+, but any other purse hook will do.

Like some of the previous posters said, we spend way too much money to be putting our obsessions on the floor. But, I bought one mainly b/c I thought about all of the germs that are lingering on my bag (have taken one too many micro classes in undergrad). I bought three of them (for the 3 ladies in the family) and I know I have already gotten my money's worth!

Who cares if people think we are high maintenance? At least our bags won't get dirty and infested with bacteria. LOL

My most wonderful best friend just surprized me with two pursehooks last week! What an awesome surprize:) And I think that they are totally necessary (this coming from most decidedly unfussy girl). Same friend and I were in a mostly empty resturant a while back, me with a brand new Andrea Brueckner and my friend with her beloved Cole Haan. Trying to keep them clean, we put them on empty seats at the table next to ours. Next thing we know this woman (hand on hip of course!) says, real snarky, "Are you using those seats?" Guess she's never been honored with a bag worth keeping nice- she totally didn't understand. At any rate, short story long- that's a great reason to have these purse hooks:)

I have been thinking about getting a purse hook so I am definitely look at the links that have been provided. I don't think it is high maintenence at all, just common sense when you spend as much as we do on our purses.

And although any pursehook will serve the function, what I love about the luxlink is that it turns from a hook into a little circle that would fit in absolutely the smallest evening bag probably in even in a wallet. I've had both the regular kind and one just like the lux link and I think the lux link is definitely worth the $$$$.:tup:

I feel like I'm from outer space or something.....I've never seen one of these before.....never in a restaurant, bar, or club. i think it's a great idea...I'm always looking for a place to put my LV bag and I hate putting it on the floor. I feel like people would stare if I whipped one of these out and placed it on the table. I could just imagine the conversation with the server.
