This sounds interesting! So none of the 4 abovementioned purse hooks were the one that you received? I think I'd like this, but I don't want one that's heavy, or flimsy. The hook you have sounds just about perfect. Could you check and see if there a name anywhere on your hook?

FOUND IT!!!! Not exactly the one I have...Looks exactly like what I have but it's better because a magnet keeps it closed which mine doesn't have. Let us know what you think:

I use mine whenever I go to a bar/pub type place since those high top tables leave nowhere to place your bag. Either it's far beneath you on the floor or taking up a seat of it's own, which in my opinion is more 'high maintenance' than a purse hook!
Great thread! Living in South Beach, all I ever do is sit outside, and a lot of places don't have purse hooks on the tables. I don't want to get my designer bags dirty, but more importantly the germs scare me. LOL I just purchased one for myself, my sister, and my mother. We all cringe when there is no purse hook at a restaurant, bar, etc. Well, ok not the bar for my mother. LOL They are going to be so excited for such a simple solution! 
I ended up buying the black and white swirl ones made by Luxe Link, but I bought them at www.fashionbliss.com. They were $39 each instead of $35 like at www.luxelink.com, but I had a coupon code for 15% off at FashionBliss so it worked out cheaper. If anybody needs the coupon code, let me know!

I personally used "FB" b/c it gave me 15%.
Others I had were "VIP" for 10% off, which obviously would be silly to use. LOL
"MYSPACE" I believe gave 15% off as well. "MYSPACE2" I believe gave FREE SHIPPING. I of course, tried to use the FB AND MYSPACE2, but they weren't going for it.
I loved all of the ones they had, but I got the black and white swirl one because I thought it looked fun! Let me know what you end up getting.
Is it sad that I'm so excited to get them?
And at $35-$39 each, I hope they are worth it. LOL

Great thread! I first saw these little hooks on bluefly 2 years ago, and thought they were such a good idea, but thought they just didn't really look stylish enough. as the time's gone by, I've seen a couple that I thought were ok, but the ones on luxe link are actually nice looking! i'm going to have to finally cave in!
