Yes, I have one and love it- it doesnt really "stick" to the table- the weight of your bag helps hold it in place... I can't live without mine now that I have it !!

Here is my purse hook, a little ladybug. I bought mine on Ebay, just search for 'purse hook' and a bunch of them pop up.

i have one from ebay. it's really convenient. now i don't have to worry about the bottom of my bags getting scuffed up.

as to how they work, the weight of the bag causes the hook to hang in place. it's really nifty.

I got mine from PurseSitter and they are absolutely fantastic. I never go out without one now

I was looking on ebay for one of these. Do you think they all can hold the same weight? There's one that claims to hold up to 20 pounds. Of course my bag isn't nearly that heavy but some of the other hooks do not have that claim. I would prefer to buy a sturdier one.

Cool! I've seen these before but always felt weird about the thought of my purse dangling on the edge of a table - I get worried that someone will just grab my purse and run out the door! So instead I just end up putting my purse on my lap...is that being too protective?

i totally agree with you. i cannot imagine just hanging my bag off a table, i am way to paranoid.
