Purse Hooks / Hangers

Not strange at all. Quite a practical invention I should have come up with. Had dinner with friends seated at a four seat table. Wife pulled out purse hook and politely set it up and had her bag dangling from there the rest of the evening while I held mine the rest of the night. Now who do you think was the most comfortable...not me. Happened to come across a purse hook months later by coincidence. I politely walked over to the register and paid for it. Have yet to use it.

I have to tell you I'm so excited my clipa came in the mail today. So excited going to use it tomorrow.:woohoo::woot:

I hope you like it! I used mine this evening coming home on the commuter train home from work. It was able to hold both my large purse and my lunch tote without any problems. They were secure and right in front of me and I was comfortable and able to read my book and drink my bottle of water without any impediments!

:D I do like it. I knew I would when I saw it . :smile1:

I feel like it'd get in the way actually...or be easy for someone to run by and grab

I always set the hook very close to me and it my sight but not in the way. It's usually just to the right of my hand at a table in a restaurant.

I actually think that hanging a bag over the back of a chair offers a much greater risk of theft, and I see that being done all the time.

When I'm dining out, it's now become habit for me to get my Clipa out and hang my bag from the edge of the table. It is never in the way - the bag hangs below the table and slightly underneath, in space that was previously unoccupied and unused. It's usually to my left (I eat with my right hand) and within easy reach and view.

If somebody wanted to grab the bag and run, they'd have to come at it in such a weird crab-like loping way I'd know immediately what they were up to :D

I've seen these used in restaurants and it seems like a really good idea!
I guess my only worry would be if a drink was spilled on the table, your bag would get soaked. Has that ever happened to anyone?
