I've seen these used in restaurants and it seems like a really good idea!
I guess my only worry would be if a drink was spilled on the table, your bag would get soaked. Has that ever happened to anyone?

Good question but I don't think any bags are fully safe from life when we use them.

I think this was posted earlier but how do you deal with a purse that has one long strap so it doesn't touch the floor. hrmm:

I always set the hook very close to me and it my sight but not in the way. It's usually just to the right of my hand at a table in a restaurant.

I actually think that hanging a bag over the back of a chair offers a much greater risk of theft, and I see that being done all the time.

I usually put mine on the ground between my feet kinda hooking the strap around my foot lol

I often hang bags by the hardware, usually one of the the rings that connect the strap to the bag. That works well in many situations including bags with a long strap, but make sure the bag has secure closure because it will be hanging on an angle.

Just got my FUMI bracelet / purse hook thing. It took FOREVER to process/ship... like 2 weeks or something, and their warehouse is here in San Diego.

The hook itself is spring-loaded, so it snaps closed if not held open. Here are some pics:

I always make sure that one of my clipas is in my bag whenever I change out bags. It's like making sure that my phone is in there! I use my clipas often - just today in fact!
