I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I think it has already been reported that Prince William is not on the same page as his father about Hairball attending the Coronation. William is limited in what he can press for because his father has the final word.

I wish that Hairball would stay in the USA. We don't want him here at all, ever

Imo W is not just any sibling. He is now the heir. He and Hazz are not equals in this institution. William needs to make his voice heard, frequently and clearly. In the beginning of this H&M mess, I gave W a pass, excused his compliance. Now, it is time to speak up.

W has his millions, his succession is sealed. Imagine if he publicly called for Hazz to renounce. It is time.

my impression from limited British and Irish celebs I've seen who were asked about is that a lot of them aren't fans of the RF or the Prince and his WIFE. I think (and Brits here please correct me) that while a lot of British people did love the queen, a lot are not in love with the idea of the monarchy

Went to see Elton John tonight! There was a nice video of gay pride, gay marriage and the general diversity and inclusive cast ruined by a picture of H&M's wedding portrait.

Before we get too excited or upset let's remember the tour was supposed to happen 2 years ago. I don't think they'd be in the mix if the video was created 2023.

I'm at bit miffed though. I had a VIP pass and still EJ didn't send a private plane. The least I expected was a tiara and a private plane. Anyone invites me to their next farewell concert, I'm staying home to arrange a birthday party for my my cat.

I don't feel the BRF lectures us, but I certainly feel Haz and ILBW do. I think Haz can't face the music, which is why he'll hightail it out of there. No balcony appearance, boo hoo hoo. He's going because without the BRF he's just another stupid bloke.

Don’t go cutting Elton any slack. That showman would not use a two-year-old video in his farewell tour without updating it. If Harry and Meghan are still part of it, it’s because he wants them there. Can’t imagine why but it does make me think a little less of him.

Right. Leave Archie out of it. This is the "Coronation Show", not the "Harry and Meghan's Kid's Show". If one of the Cambridge kid's birthday was, say, May 7th, would THEY get a shout out? Nope. I read that CP Amalia and Pss Beatrix of the Netherlands will be at a reception , but not the Abbey - Beatrix has long history with KC3
