I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Charles is trying to hard to be modern. That is not his music, he prefers chamber music. Why doesn’t he have that?

I wouldn't call Lionel Richie and a 90s boy band modern lol. I thought their selection might be out of nostalgia for his youth, but I would think he wouldn't want any reminders of the 80s and 90s. Or is it just that a lot of British musicians anti-royal?

Exactly. What I think is more interesting are the stories that when Meghan relaunches herself, it will not only be to separate herself from the Royal family, but Harry as well. I want to see how she is going to do this whilst at the same time using the title she has courtesy of her husband and the Royal family. I want to see how she finesses using the title given by the same people who so called oppressed her. She talks about being authentic? Using the title is not authentic.

Now that we have all seen how glorious, compassionate, and all around perfect Nutmeg is, she no longer needs Todger Windsor. He’s as useful as spent coffee grounds.
She now can stand and shine like a diamond ...errr, cubic zirconia, all on her own.

This individual is as fake as they come. Remember QEII's look when Me-Again was standing at the altar and the concern on Prince Philip's face when he looked at QEII? Sophie has had the look on her face, in the post above, on a fair few occasions. Honestly, Zed is nowhere near the calibre of our BRF (excluding Sparry, and Andrew, of course) and I'm glad she's not attending the Coronation. Simply put, she doesn't deserve to be there in any way.

I appreciate the sentiment but he really shouldn’t compare Hakimi‘s case to Harry’s, they are very different. Isn’t Hakimi an accused rapist? His wife filed for divorce and Hakimi has all of his assets in accounts in his mother’s name to keep his wife from getting anything.

His wife may be a gold digger, I don’t know much about them. However, she is not the one who is being accused by a girl of rape. I don’t have any sympathy for a grown man who hides his money with his mommy to get out of a divorce settlement. If I am missing relevant information in the story, someone let me know!

I don't know much about the Hakimi case, I just found it to be an interesting take that if Diana had lived, Harry would not have fallen for such an obvious gold digger. He may have listened to her since its obvious that William and Charles failed to get through to him.

BTW I don't get the sugars' fixation with how now no mixed raced family member (using the term loosely) is at the coronation and it's the same white people. My question is, do we HAVE to have mixed raced or black family members in an obviously European, white family? Had she not turned out to be a massive jerk and nutjob she would have been there, so she's not excluded because of her ancestry. How many white family members are there in any of the Nigerian royal families? The Moroccan one? Sheikh of Dubai was married like 15 times and all of them were from various Arab countries if they weren't his cousins to begin with. I feel this is such an unrealistic standard.
