I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Just a thought, what's the situation with Todger's residence permit? I am just wondering if that has anything to do with him deciding to attend and whether there will be any problems in returning back after the event. I hope they give him a thorough check at Customs and at the Palace when he arrives. Rubber gloves and everything. I am expecting to see a gloomy face at the Coronation but if I see a happy face, we'll all know he's been "cleaning his windscreen" again.

It was rumored that Charles made a statement (around the time of The Queen’s death?) that he would never be in a room with TW again. The Queen probably had a similar feeling, considering that time H visited during his Invictus thing and TW was given no audience, only tea under heavy guard. So, my guess is she was not invited at all.

My other guess is based on a different rumor that Charles said she would only be welcome if both kids came. My suspicion there is that she is worried about the meal tickets not being allowed out of the UK for a return trip home.

My last guess is that she was told that the working royal ladies would be wearing tiaras, but nothing would be loaned to her as she is not a working royal, and she is having a snit fit and refusing to participate.

When they attended the Jubilee and Queen's funeral, by and large people didn't boo them too much, most likely out of respect for The Queen.
Now?
The gloves are off. Zed would be booed mercilessly. And deservedly so. I don't think Harold will be too warmly greeted either. Best he stays at the children's table. And would it be too much to ask that he have his shoes polished and hair combed? Zed's "excuse" to stay with the kids in CA is pretty lame. It isn't as though they don't have nannies and help. Charles was obligated to invite Harold, just like at weddings where you have to invite certain relatives even though you'd prefer they not attend. Everybody knows Claw is staying behind because she isn't wanted, the sugars can spin it however they want.

Why can’t they do the kids’s birthday party the week before or the week after the coronation? There’s no law that a party has to be on the actual date of the birth and most kids parties nowadays are on weekends anyway so more people can attend. Those who have birthdays that fall in the summer, (when a lot of people are away on vacations or in their summer homes) will choose to celebrate with a party before or after the summer. That’s what people do, at least in my neck of the woods.

Oh, I'm sure TW will schedule a pap walk to make sure she gets covered the same day as King Charles III. I put nothing past that narc.

Maybe another miscarriage? Isn't she rumored to be pregnant? :graucho: With that headline the focus will be solely on her and she will be able to capitalize on everyone feeling sorry for her. Her celeb friends will rally around her and she can blame the stress of the coronation and the hatred of the Royal Family as a reason that she miscarried...wait, I shouldn't be giving TW any ideas...
