I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I'm sure we'll be hearing more than we care to know about the Little Emperor's birthday party. Then again, he's not the Golden Child so might be the one and only time the kid gets an actual birthday party at all. Now I almost feel sorry for the kid. H should have taken the kids with him but I guess that's exactly the kind of thing M is afraid of.

I don't think they even remembered the date as anything special to be honest. Probably just a coincidence. Plus, when has anything to do with her children ever stopped her from attending something she wants to attend? She has been flying all over the place regardless of her kids before.

There is that theme with the horses so it would suit(!) him. Remember when Harold had a press conference to announce Archie's birth at Windsor Castle stables...? I died of laughter that day.

I agree with you. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see her missing this. It will be their last time to "royal" for a while (hopefully) and I can't believe she'd voluntarily miss it.

Either 1) she wasn't invited; or 2) she was she was invited but with onerous conditions that she wasn't willing to meet.
And either way they'll spin it now as needing to stay home with the kids/Archie's birthday/possibly announcing divorce and in the future she'll share her truth that it was due to horrible racism/threats/lack of security.

I'd say she's scared. She knows she's been exposed for what she is, completely so. Maybe they served her with some legal papers to sign in case she attends? Narcissists hate that stuff.

I've had a narcissist make demands and threaten me with lawsuits when she was the one who was in the wrong and acting like a complete monster. After I served her with some papers to sign to give up all demands, I never heard from her again. Not a word. She had been preparing for a grand finale face-to-face for months and when the day came - never showed up. I was even compensated but she made sure it was done by one of her henchmen and not her. M did a surprising thing, yet something that could have been expected of her.

Now, what's interesting is whether she will try to divert the attention on herself on the day of Coronation or simply release a statement of some kind. Like how she's suddenly divorcing and making a big career change.

This. If she heard the crowds booing her, she would fall apart.

This, to me, was depressing. The entire gloomy atmosphere, beginning with the obese dog … and his oh-so-soft, non-masculine voice, the three of them barefoot, placing “eggs” in holes in dusty earth, as if burying the last of what was left of Harry’s prestigious existence. … It actually made me sad.
