I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I am glad that she isn't coming. I am also glad that he is. We all know his behaviour has been disgraceful and unforgivable but, his father has been King in waiting all Harry's life. Harry knows this all too well and my opinion at the moment is that whatever happens in the future re probable divorce and after, he will regret not being there on his father's greatest day.

Maybe TW is still desperately trying to line up a gig with one of the American networks covering the Coronation. After all she has soooo much insight to offer as an American married to the King’s son who was privy to the inner workings of the BRF for all of 2 seconds. And she can talk about all the behind the scenes planning that goes into a major royal event since she was apparently the poster child for Bridezillas everywhere in the lead up to her $30 million wedding to H. She can dredge up Tiaragate when she discusses Queen Camilla’s crown and the tiaras all the other senior royal ladies will be wearing. She can even put her one tear out of her left eye trick to good use as she reminisces about her dream wedding to her handsome Prince. No need to go into how he subsequently turned into a frog of course.

I predict Stunt Queen Meghan will pull something on or close to Coronation day. I think Palm Tree Prince will behave and just scowl through the entire thing. But she has something up her ill-fitting sleeve.

I also think all their pre-coronation decision-making discussions and tantrums were filmed for some future project.

I don’t trust her either. She could show up, no seat for her and they make a stink.

Anyone think that Harry is showing up because his father caved in and will allow him on the balcony? Stranger things have happened. KC3 wants the optics of having his son there

My guess - Her attendance was not desired to begin with because of the circus side show she brings. This is Charles' coronation and no one wanted the distraction of TW. All of the headlines about "negotiations" were more likely Harry trying to negotiate TW to be there and he was unsuccessful.

The sugars framing it like she's bold and strong... LOL. No. She was never obligated to be there to begin with, so no great feat on her part to not be going. More like a big cover-up to save face.

Yes, this is exceedingly cynical, but it is one hypothesis about one of the most narcissistic women in recent history. She’ll find a way to make news on the 6th, but be secretly pleased she’ll be safely stashed in her California “dwelling unit” while doing it.

Increasingly, concerns of the potentially huge security risks at the Coronation because of H’s Afghanistan comments in his book are surfacing.

To put it bluntly, if she’s not present and something horrible happens, she’s unscathed and survives to lead a life of victimized martyrdom, sob, sob, left eye tear flood, a bereft widow struggling to raise her poor orphaned Royal Children, the STAR in controlling a life time major production world wide. She would be the albatross the RF could never shake. Dorarhia would, of course, be present for support, thus available to assist her Grifter daughter in manipulating the monetization of widowhood. Think of the unlimited opportunitie$$$$ for them to milk, and we know Doria taught her to never ever give it away for free.

I’m not suggesting she wants H dead, but I do believe if she was widowed she would adjust in a heartbeat and her greatest acting feat would be to not let a grief mask slip to reveal the smirk beneath.

Her real Disney role models are the monumental meanies: Malificent, Cruella de Vil, the Evil Queen, the Evil Stepmother, Ursula, Queen of Hearts, Madam Medusa, the White Witch, Nerissa, and a few I probably missed. At my age I’m not as up to date on Disney unless the great grandchildren are watching a video.
