I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Why can’t they do the kids’s birthday party the week before or the week after the coronation? There’s no law that a party has to be on the actual date of the birth and most kids parties nowadays are on weekends anyway so more people can attend. Those who have birthdays that fall in the summer, (when a lot of people are away on vacations or in their summer homes) will choose to celebrate with a party before or after the summer. That’s what people do, at least in my neck of the woods.

The birthday party had nothing to do with it. I suspect Meghan isn’t coming because the RF didn’t agree to demands about wearing tiaras and appearing on balconies and they didn’t like this. They were basically shunned at the Jubilee and wanted to make sure there wouldn’t be a repeat of that.

Honestly, I would respect them more if they had both declined…but of course, all anyone is interested in is their royal connections, so someone had to go.

Well if Harold is allowed, then Andy, the D and D of Windsor, Anne and husband should be included too. I don't expect to see him on the balcony. I think he'll have a decent seat with the second tier royals but nowhere near the Wales.

I think that KC3 wanted no pictures of her with or anywhere near him or the family. He knew she would use them for her own devices like that posed one eye with a tear picture that has been all over the internet.

The sad thing is that so many news outlets are reporting on this like it’s something so important that we should all be made aware of it. So the grifters have achieved their objective of remaining in the news. But who really gives a damn whether she attends the coronation or not? Too bad H is still going. I wish he’d just stay home and keep the chickens company.

My guess - Her attendance was not desired to begin with because of the circus side show she brings. This is Charles' coronation and no one wanted the distraction of TW. All of the headlines about "negotiations" were more likely Harry trying to negotiate TW to be there and he was unsuccessful.

That is the thing. For all the moans about privacy, she wants the circus side show. The attention is what she lives for. Any woman who sees the need to hire a pap to take a picture of her walking down the block and entering a Mexican restaurant for lunch, is looking for attention. Does she think this puts her on the same level as JLo? It does as far a PR thirst and a daily picture in the DM is concerned, but as far as it showing how famous she is, it doesn't. At the moment she is famous for being one of the most ridiculed women on the planet. That really has to hurt. It goes beyond the if they are talking about me then it is all OK. It is not OK. The SP episode is going down in the history books as one of the most awful takedowns of two people. The caricatures will follow them around for a long time. Could I almost feel sorry for either of them, especially her? Nope.

I thought that too, and that was a feature in other previous coronations, that royal dukes or princes had to pledge allegiance. Only William is doing so for this one.

Maybe another miscarriage? Isn't she rumored to be pregnant? With that headline the focus will be solely on her and she will be able to capitalize on everyone feeling sorry for her. Her celeb friends will rally around her and she can blame the stress of the coronation and the hatred of the Royal Family as a reason that she miscarried...wait, I shouldn't be giving TW any ideas...
