I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

They have not been very, uh, self-aware in the past. How could that demon spawn go back and show her face after The Queen's death, pretending she was oh so affected? And yet she did.

I hope they are finally being seen for who they are. However, considering how they easily convinced Netflix, Spotify, and Random House to give them millions, I have no doubt they could persuade some naïve foundations to partner with them and keep the cash flow going.

I think the articles appearing about Meghan knowing full well about the Royals years before becoming involved with them are deliberate drops from the palace spin doctors It is documented and can’t be ignored or explained away. She had her little friends bowing and curtsying to her as a child so I don’t buy her not knowing about that protocol as well.

Besides the obvious lies: I will never understand why she thinks playing dumb is somewhat endearing and cute. I personally prefer to appear smarter than I actually am

I agree with you, it seems ludicrous to associate with them, knowing what we do about them, but Kerry Kennedy evidently wanted a new 15 minutes of fame so sold her family's "Robert F. Kennedy Foundation Ripple of Hope Award" to them, tarnishing herself and the family name in the process. When H claimed in an Interview he and TW never accused the Royal Family of being racist, the premise on which the Ripple of Hope Award was based, Kerry's fawning over the Suckesses made her look a duped publicity ho. But she got her picture and name widely distributed for a few weeks so maybe it was worth it to her. Sadly, there are probably others like her who will continue to use H and TW, although those 2 might have to settle for lesser remuneration for using their brand as time goes on.

I think the no apology and toxicity will be the reasons, however, I still think there is a good chance Harold might show up to "support the monarchy." He needs to support the monarchy or his titles are worthless. As far as Meghan going, who knows? If she loves attention as much as we think she does, she just might go.

She might show up 'heavily' pregnant wearing the 10 month moon bump thinking people won't boo her.

Playing dumb is a trick that I really find offensive. It is usually done by someone who has the intention of making you look foolish.

Given the bad PR and the sinking public opinion, many will stay away to remain untouched by the taint. Everyone loves a winner until they become a loser.

Listened to Tom Bower yesterday and he does admire her for her talent at sniffing out a deal and people who can help her. He doesn't think she is going to hang around if Harry becomes a liability to her advancement. Plus he said that Harold may not be as into making the gazillions as she is. Obviously, he wants to make money, but Bower thinks that she is really on a mission to make much more than Harold aspires to. He said everything has to be bigger for her. Frog Cot was nothing and she needed the Montecito mansion.

Karma is a funny thing. There is nothing wrong with reaching for the sky and wanting to improve your situation, but there is a point when you have to realize that unless you slow down or stop, it could all be lost. Greed can destroy.
