I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Hmmm on Wikipedia, does it say she graduated ? What degree ? BA ? BS ? Or did she just attend?
The MM wiki pages are heavily moderated, someone must have checked the EXACT language.
PS just checked .. it says Northwestern is her ALMA MATER, does not state degree type. ALMA MATER is used as a euphemism for school attended ????

I’ve always found it very strange that we never saw pictures of her graduating or with friends from college. That’s literally the most photographed time of my life.

Geena Davis just admitted that she didn’t finish Boston University after telling people she graduated from there for years. I’m sure the BU paper wrote about her as a notable alum, and I doubt the administration would make a big deal of it, who would it serve?

Worst of all to me, was his flippantly telling the story about his behavior while at Boarding School, deliberately mocking the crippled Matron, Pat, to get laughs from his friends. He mimicked her stilted walk, awkwardness on stairs and belittled her looks. He’s a bullying sanctimonious piece of crap, not a role model. He IS a disgrace.

I agree but as I’ve said before why did he have to tell the world about it in his book ? Did he actually think it was still funny and not something to be ashamed of and maybe apologise for ? Oh stupid me he just wants people to apologise to him and TW !

So, if you believe a lot of the trash articles lately the majority say KC wants Harry to be at the coronation. Personally I think this is a huge mistake. In light of the disrespect Spare allegations and publicly Harry (and Megan) will be the center of attention and that will take away from the importance of the event for the King.
*And I’ m just petty enough that I really hope if they do attend the British people boo them relentlessly.

My question is: will the majority of the British public accept them or shun them?
