I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

The naming contest is over for this year. This is my home state, and while the Department of Transportation certainly has a sense of humor, I highly doubt they are willing to saddle one of our publicly owned snow plows with a phallic reference.

Edited to add: The rules state that politically inspired and vulgar names will not be considered.

The other names are more clever anyway. Vulgarity aside, snowplows are too important to name after someone so unreliable.

King Charles had been visiting the University of East London today and greeted students who had gathered outside with one asking him if he could bring back his estranged son Prince Harry, who quit as a working royal

According to the Daily Mirror, HM was on a walkabout today and was asked to bring back Prince Harry. Apparently, he didn't hear the question properly at first and said "Who?" and then burst out laughing when he realized what was said.

Anything they would write on SNL involving him would be an open insult to his family because Harry would be making fun of them in whatever the writers devised. Harry would be even more done with his family than he is now. No way would he be able to go back and face any of them.

He (and TW) are utterly shameless. They showed up at QEII's funeral expecting front row seats after the Oprah interview.
I don't put anything past them at this point.

Agree a cornucopia of snakes required - crudités is my (brilliant lol) metaphor for all the phallic stuff in the book , but nuts are for Nutmeg, and smelly cheese for all the Harkle piles of cr*p

Well sugar, that's the question we've all been asking...only our protagonists are the Troublesome Two and the BRF.

BTW not sure why it needs to be explained to someone who apparently was once smart enough to earn a PhD, but saying you're an only child when you are not is a lie, and it seems the Markles are over Markle's lies.
