Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

But why do (normal) people wear them? Is there a strong market for these?
Well the cheap inflatable ones showed they were good for using in a Santa Claus costume. The silicone ones could be for anyone wanting to pretend they’re pregnant for real or as a gag. I remember back in the day, the maternity clothing boutiques would have a stuffed belly to strap on while you were trying on the clothes in case you weren’t showing for real yet. The issue is that bust, derrière and even legs would all not be padded so it was unrealistic for me at least, since I didn’t just gain in my stomach area.

I am one of those who think that MM has been pregnant but that she wore a fake baby bump as an add on to confuse when her due date was, maybe make people think she was further along than she was or to just get more attention if she wasn't showing that much. I think she and Harry are that obsessed with themselves and their press coverage that they would want to jealously guard the due date as if it were some important national secret.

I was really curious so googled inflatable belly bumps and a bunch popped up on Ama7on. Silicon baby bumps were also available with belly buttons in sizes 4, 6, and 9 months. I know why she used the inflatable one since those are cheap and around $20. whereas the silicone ones are up to $300. We know how cheap she is, so inflatable was her choice!

I think TW must have bought at least one “belly button included” bump. In pictures where she is wearing some of her fugly knit dresses pulled tight, a belly button is visible. In at least one it looks off center, although it could be the camera angle. :coolio:

I don't really get the Archewell thing. If they are supposedly philanthropists, they should be funding it from their own money and giving the money to worthy organizations. I haven't heard of any large contributions from them. Just them partnering with other organizations sending them sandwiches for the staff.

They kinda are funding Archewell , in simple terms , AW = DAF, an investment vehicle to reduce tax expenses
1. Book advance goes into AW DAF, they give their money to AW, sorta, kinda
2. In exchange, AW pays all their business expenses , outfits, legal, accountants home office, planes, the whole lifestyle.
3. Less income tax is paid by funneling money into charitable DAF, than by keeping it. DAF gives you giant reduction in taxes.

Most of what is disbursed By DAF is expenses - item 2 - and small amount pays for sandwiches.

that doesn't seem right....I hope the IRS is looking into it but they're short-staffed

It is all completely legal but arguably morally reprehensible, if you meet the requirements of a DAF ,a certain percentage has to go to real causes not expenses, financial reporting requirements (where did you spend the money balance sheets made public)
So, far AW is too new to have been subject to the above requirements

The latest ”filing” - we took in 13M and doled out 3M, is their attempt to meet the documentation requirements in the LEAST transparent and informative way imaginable

She really thinks that guy clocked her fake-bump bumping moment LOL - she's petrified!
To me, the story makes sense… if I was trying to pass off a moonbump and made that noise, I would be suicidal that the game was up after the wardrobe malfunction, not over the press, the BRF, nasty Anne , Kate
Self inflicted wound

Without the BRF, there's no stardust to filter out the hard-edges of their image(s), no one to clear up the never-ending stream of BS from either one's mouth of Mr. Angry and Little MZZ Bile :hs:
Something I noticed in lots of videos of MM misbehaving when with the BRF, she pushes and shoves, is rude, that is OBVIOUS if you look in the right place
BUT the videos are focused on QEII and KC3, not on MM, you must look at the periphery of the videos and not be distracted by QEII
and the endless clips of MM at dog shelter, no one ever saw more than 10 seconds of them

I wonder if it was all Harry's idea.

It's the only reason I can think of why he 'went along' with such a charade and all the other lies that are clearly hers.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but they are, so such a crazy plan may be normal for them

Given their skewed view of the world, the other “normal” for them will be, if exposed, blaming the RF for making it necessary.

I'm sure you're correct but I still don't see it
I worked for a family who had a charitable foundation which was self-funded. I'm quite sure the foundation didn't pay for their household expenses and they didn't take a salary. I get that there are many foundations who do have execs who are paid.
