Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

We know - from TRG analysis - that $10m book advance went into Archewell DAF, probably a few million more from BENCH, SPOTIFY etc
They did not raise the $13M, that is the book advance
The $3M distribution could have been payment for Archewell expenses eg to the MM Dior fund, we don’t know where that went
i cited TRG YouTube video on DAF about two months ago here

Remember, they “helped fund.” They didn’t pay the way for those 13 people. They gave a token amount while other foundations paid the lion’s share.

ITA, gotta look at the real figures, these people are like con-artists, one grain of truth turns into a whole beach.

When it comes to their own cash (and Archewell is their own cash-cow) they spread their butter very thinly

I think this is the part of the H&M saga that I find so fascinating. I wonder if the two of them have ever taken a step back and examined the timing of the shift in their popularity more closely and taken any ownership of the rapid descent.…

They claim they were so popular when Meghan first entered the RF scene that others in the RF were jealous of the attention they were receiving, so Camilla, Prince (now King) Charles and others launched a smear campaign against them (or, at a minimum, they claim the RF did nothing to stop the press attacks against them). All the while H&M say they were forced to sit idly by in silence.

Yet now that H&M have abandoned their RF duties and are in full control of their story, able to voice every complaint they’ve ever had, their popularity has gone straight down, on both sides of the ocean now.

So, in a nutshell, they felt attacked and stifled when entrenched in the RF, unable to defend themselves, yet since leaving and finally being able to voice their own “defense”, they have actually done more damage to their own reputations than any supposed smear campaign by the RF or the British press ever did. Talk about a self inflicted wound. Ohhhh, the irony.
The Harkles were the most popular royals in THE POLLS around wedding time, Catherine for ex took a lot of heat for few engagements despite having the good excuse of being a new mother

MM was a diva/pushy, BUT back then no one noticed, so, the Harkles faired better than Catherine. It took a year for anyone to examine the famous garden party video where KC3 had her ejected. It was out there but no one noticed, it was not hidden or leaked by the BRF

After the Thomas Markle letter kerfuffle and lawsuit, the Harkles brought all the scrutiny on themselves in part because they chose to play out the TM mess in the courts, PEOPLE magazine , pure hubris

They were calling the narrative early on, and it backfired spectacularly, but i doubt they see it that way

Without the BRF, there's no stardust to filter out the hard-edges of their image(s), no one to clear up the never-ending stream of BS from either one's mouth of Mr. Angry and Little MZZ Bile :hs:

I don't really get the Archewell thing. If they are supposedly philanthropists, they should be funding it from their own money and giving the money to worthy organizations. I haven't heard of any large contributions from them. Just them partnering with other organizations sending them sandwiches for the staff.

It sounds like you do :"get the Archewell thing". It's a smoke screen to make lots of money whilst virtue signalling doing it.

They think because so many apparent 'charities' do it it's fine. It's a con. Even then I think these two push it to the max, I hope the IRS looks into it.

I was really curious so googled inflatable belly bumps and a bunch popped up on Ama7on. Silicon baby bumps were also available with belly buttons in sizes 4, 6, and 9 months. I know why she used the inflatable one since those are cheap and around $20. whereas the silicone ones are up to $300. We know how cheap she is, so inflatable was her choice!

But why do (normal) people wear them? Is there a strong market for these?

Deep dive on Reddit about MM suicide thoughts , the night of the cirque du soleil gala in London, MM wore navy sequin formal
Anyway, Reddit poster put 2 and 2 together, navy sequins were the night of a visit to a filmed animal shelter - wearing beige dress and open coat. key conclusions …
1. Morning visit to shelter. Definitely a loud mystery noise on video when MM gets up from squat. Could be a moonbump burp ??? there is a noise, why ??
2. Arguably, moonbump goes up and down in the shelter videos
3. MM goes home, collapses in tears when Harry comes home to dress for gala
COULD IT BE ??? suicide ideation was caused by moonbump wardrobe malfunction Earlier in the day ???

sorry the link is soooo long… but I wanted to show the receipts. As always, allegedly, receipts are murky but all this happened on same day

She really thinks that guy clocked her fake-bump bumping moment LOL - she's petrified!

I’m guessing it is for women who are adopting or using a surrogate who absolutely don’t want their friends and relatives to know. That raises questions but as you said there must be a market for it.

Gosh, then there must be a whole industry. Months of pretending your pregnant and then et voilà!

I don't get why people buy that they are philanthropists...and what is the talk about Archewell receiving donations? why should anyone contribute to that foundation (other than H&M)? does anyone else contribute?

What Archewell do/contribute to is as clear as mud.

People would be far better just giving their money to whichever causes that are dear to them.
