I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

• Built a playground for children of Uvalde, Texas after a gun massacre in a school last year killed 19 young children and two teachers
• Helped fund 13 academic fellows to 'address society's most urgent concerns surrounding social media' at Harvard's Institute for Rebooting Social Media

I think OW was blinded by the opportunity to finally interview a "royal". That interview was the fakest thing ever, with both Zed and OW overacting. If it's true that OW scrubbed it from the internet, then it likely means she is trying to erase this embarrassing episode from her life, and she would definitely not invite Zed, especially now that Sparry has undermined that racist bombshell that she helped to launch.

I thought the playground was built by someone else, and Arghwell merely contributed something?
And does funding 13 academic fellows mean that they have bribed 13 money-hungry "experts" to speak up in their favour?

I think they’re getting frozen out because nobody likes or trusts a snitch and with the release of H’s book, everyone realizes H and TW cannot be trusted. They will throw anyone they have contact with under the bus if they can earn $$$ by doing so. Celebrities value discretion in their circle of friends and H and TW obviously don’t know the meaning of the word.

OW already got her interview and $9M, so she is done with the Harkles (allegedly).

The 13 "experts" were probably the only ones who got money from the Harkles. Lemon cakes may not be enough to cover publication costs.
