I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

It is certainly possible the sidelined show could happen. Iirc Earl Spencer tried to be a commentator for some event. It was an epic fail, lots of dead air, lots of restating the obvious, blah blah. Even if they sit with GK, doubtful they will add much to the show. They won’t know the history, the insider details, etc. Sure, let them go, give them a microphone and watch them flail and fail.

All true. They do seem to find a way to insert themselves. If someone is paying attention this time around, one would hope that stricter controls would be in place. The coronation is a far more planned occasion in many ways than the funeral. The funeral itself was planned completely, but the interaction of the participants was another story. Believe me, I would love for them to stay away, but the reality is that there is the possibility that the King will want his son there.

If he truly values the Monarchy as QEII did he simply cannot give in to Harry, choosing between the sons isn’t a matter of which one he prefers. He has to support his one and only heir.

If there was ever a time I’d wanted to be a fly on the wall it was when I saw poor Sophie stuck in the car with Meghan. I’d be so ashamed to be ignored by such a warm and kind woman as Sophie.

I want to see both Harry and Meghan pledge their allegiance to the King (and Kingdom) in order to keep their titles. I want to see them both curtesy to him and kiss his hand, and pledge a life of service to that racist, horrible institution to which has given them the notoriety they crave. :lol:
I know it’s wishful thinking, but still...

I think Sophie frightened her. She was frostbitten at the Commonwealth Service. Sophie made no bones about how she was feeling. It was more than obvious that she and the Cambs/Wales were ignoring her.

For me, being short-waisted would not explain the photos where her postpartum bump shifted sideways. The whole Archie pregnancy was enacted like The Meghan Markle Fraud Show.

Narcs believe they are always in the right. So it might not be a "balls are big" situation. She/They might feel very self-righteous about attending.

They will pledge, curtsy…whatever they need to do to keep the titles, but will continue with their attacks to Will, Charles and the rest of the family imo.
