I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

What I meant was that the earring stones could have been broken up and resold or made into other pieces of jewelry. Wearing them as the actual earrings was controversial.

I think it is a skill some people never master. I couldn't even wear them when I was young. My daughter begged me for a pair of Louboutin pumps when she was in college and I bought them as a Christmas gift. I laughed when we went out to dinner and she teetered on them from the car into the restaurant. Years later they sit in her closet, rarely worn.

Because I worked in construction, outside of work I wanted the prettiest high heels and was always able to walk in them. Since covid I don’t wear them so much as I feel overdressed but I can still run in them at 52. Whilst I can wear LK Bennett like Kate I cannot wear CL’s or Jimmy Choo - no way.

But I really do want them at the Coronation if they’re going to be contained and sidelined. What would be great was if the TV and media decided not to show them AT ALL.

If they’re separated I think she won’t come, she only looks confident around the Royals when she’s hanging off Harry. She will always feel like the poor relative around them because she doesn’t fit in.

In so far as Harry’s crush on Kate, I think he did too but more of an innocent, non sexual, crush. On the other hand if I’m wrong and he was obsessed with her it might go part of the way to explaining his hatred for William. Not only a spare, not only a wifeless drip but his brother has the woman he wants.

It wasn't that I don't think.

Ladies who were 7, 8 months pregnant demonstrated they had to open their legs whilst squatting. Something to do with having a ribcage, topping over etc. They were pointing out that physically it's actually impossible to do what M did if a woman was pregnant at that stage.

Except that I posted photos of the POW squatting at 7 and 8 months so it seems it is possible...although I imagine not comfortable!

I can’t argue the toss as I’ve never been pregnant. I have however had an enormous beer belly and I couldn’t squat for a “pee in the woods” with my legs closed and manage to get up again

Even sidelined they would still be a distraction. A big attention-sucking annoying distraction. If Charles wants to share his shining moment with them, that’s up to him. I don’t see him as being quite that benevolent.

I think Charles is in a hard spot. No matter what he does in regard to his wayward POS son, half the people will be unhappy with him

I have no knowledge of what is or isn't possible during pregnancy but I do think Meghan's belly looked A LOT bigger than Kate during her pregnancy.
This is Meghan mid-January 2019, where she was barely 6 months pregnant (source https://www.harpersbazaar.com/celeb...ghan-markle-red-coat-purple-dress-birkenhead/), this is a pretty big belly already:


So both the comparison between Meghan and Kate AND the generalizations people make about what is or isn't possible at any stage of a pregnancy are somewhat questionable. That said, there are certainly many photos and videos of Meghan's belly doing very unusual things, whether they're real or fake I have no idea.
