I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I was never attracted to Louboutin pumps, but used to have my fair share of Ferragamo high heels (and Chanel too). The last time I wore them, I still remember a beautiful pair of framboise Ferragamo pumps, I had almost to be carried by DH to the car after a party. TW and Kate wear heels almost the same way I wear flats, impressive.

Unfortunately for TW, she can’t come within a country mile of matching, let alone exceeding, the standards set by Catherine. The PoW is such a tough act to follow. Catherine has a lovely personality to match her attractive face and excellent figure. She is usually dressed impeccably and appropriately and comports herself in a way that is a credit to her family, the BRF, and the country she represents. Whereas TW embarrassed herself and the BRF practically every time she opened her mouth in public or participated in official engagements. She dressed in ill fitting ridiculously expensive designer garments that were often inappropriate for the events she was at and she lacked the social graces necessary for her to do her job. Barging in front of the Queen, yanking and pushing H around at public events, and just committing so many other faux pas too numerous to mention just made her look ignorant and boorish while Catherine these days never seems to put a foot wrong in public. It would be tough for anyone, let alone someone as flawed as TW, to have to be compared to Catherine day after day. TW wanted to be the star and when she realized she could never be that in the confines of the BRF, she bolted back to CA where she was comfortable and thought she would be able to join the A list crowd without any of the restrictive rules and regulations she had to live with while she and H were considered senior members of the BRF. I think she’s miscalculated as she and H seem far from A list in the US but maybe it’s worth it to her just not to be constantly in Catherine’s shadow.

agree...Katherine is just about perfect
Meghan did not prepare for the "role" as she did. and I agree, she probably thought being a big "star" she could outshine Kate. WRONG

Seems working at Archwell is an Entrypoor experience for talented young professionals, all of whom have the ego and self confidence to think they are different from those who have gone before.

They think they will be the ones who can meet the challenges of serving possibly doped up, lying, overbearing, disorganized bosses and get it all sorted. After months of head banging and frustration they quit. Nicey nice platitudes accompany them out the door.

I bet the first step in hiring at Archwell is presentation of a NDA agreement to be signed before going any further.

Unless they’re paying people above market rates, which I highly doubt given how cheap H is, how are they attracting anyone with decent qualifications to work for them these days? Working for them is not prestigious and will not look good as a resume padder. Everything H and TW have put out so far has been riddled with lies and inaccuracies so having one’s name associated with any of the recent projects just signals that those people will do anything for a buck and have no ethics.

I agree, I think it was more platonic, maybe had a crush on her - who wouldn't? - but it's hard to refute the argument some have made that he may have subconsciously sought a partner who looked like her after having a number of blonde girlfriends.

This is why I don't think it will happen. They will be invited, but I don't think her balls are that big that she will insist on attending. She was iced out at TQ's funeral, and that was before the show and book. How big would one's ego have to be to show up in spite of all that? And how could he look anyone in the eye? I guess we'll find out.
