Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

Yes, but it is not recommended by doctors. Your center of gravity shifts and you have a greater risk of falling. I don't know how anyone wears high heels at all, much less in their third trimester.
I think the key is keeping in practice. the FLOTUS wears them and she is 71 (not pregnant of course, just speaking to the ability to walk in the very high heels)

In some of the comments, her sugars are praising her for not showing respect to a religion they disapprove of.

She likely listens to advice and reads up, unlike Ms Know-it-All.

WTF! Go to Iran and refuse to cover your hair then (that's what I plan to do next time I go). Don't bring your sh*t show to a house of worship.

I think it is a skill some people never master. I couldn't even wear them when I was young. My daughter begged me for a pair of Louboutin pumps when she was in college and I bought them as a Christmas gift. I laughed when we went out to dinner and she teetered on them from the car into the restaurant. Years later they sit in her closet, rarely worn.

This sounds like Harkle PR. Do you really think KC has approached Archbishop Welty over this? No way!

and Harkles are worried they will be requested to hand back their titles.

The bottom of the original article confirms “William is not aware of any negotiations regarding H and M’s attendance at the coronation.”

This is Harkles “trying to manifest it into existence.”

You are probably right. While Charles has been very mild he also hasn't made any gesture that said "Walk all over me, please."

So,

(Lady C - through her sources)

It's a state occasion not a family occasion. KC is not the only one making decisions.

BRF will invite Harry to be polite.
But in a way that let's them know they shouldn't bother (no balcony, no extras, no after-show party state soiree, can't sit together at the coronation itself etc)
H&M should take the hint they will be otherwise engaged

That would work with someone else but not with a couple that thinks they are God's gift to the world and who also would show up anywhere there is a camera.

I used to live in heels (I did draw the line at 4" though). Then I injured my knee 10 years ago and even after it healed I never got back into the habit of wearing them regularly. Which is a shame really as I'm short
