I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Remember how Jessica Mulroney was her "stylist" for awhile before she was Markled? And then of course she generally only uses her own people and never palace staffer or palace contracted help used by other BRF members. Additionally, I bet you she has all people signing an NDA and she would threaten lawsuit at every turn.

If she had a tailor or multiple, I'm sure they would have seen something during the moon bump period but there's no way these people would risk getting sued by her.

I have always thought it was about control and pulling the wool over the eyes of the people in importance. There is a sick satisfaction that many people enjoy from this. Skirt around the truth and keep 'em guessing. That skirt-around eventually turns into their truth, which may not be the same as your truth, which is the actual truth of the matter but that doesn't matter because it is only their truth that matters. Have I lost you yet? Eventually it all becomes their own private joke. The private joke has been an earmark of the way these two have presented themselves as a couple. Little urban dictionary innuendos were particular favorites. Roast chicken anyone? How very cute that it doesn't take much to give them their jollies, until it doesn't and hurts other people.

Probably all it took was a donation from the Archewell Foundation to the Mandela Foundation. More of the BS about a partnership. It's all about money.

At the time I actually defended MM along that line, thinking that maybe she had gotten the OK from Eugenie before the wedding. It didn't seem outside the realm of feasibility given that Harold was close to Eugenie, but having learned so much more about MM since then my thinking has changed.
