I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Nah, the only reason she got paid is because Andrew did nothing but incriminate himself. The royals would have ‘never explained’ and rode it out for free if they could have. There was nothing soft touch and absolutely certainly nothing innocent about that awful man.

The payment is a very clear concession for him to not have to appear in court or give a statement where he will further incriminate himself.

Tbh I am fuming he’s not going to court and facing charges but it’s what the dear old morally demented queen wanted for her dear morally demented son, (and used public money to pay for) so I guess trials are for poor people.

Andrew was the most most vulnerable of all the men because of his mother. The attorneys knew if they pressed him, she would pay. The other men in question could care less if their families were mentioned and all had already had bad things said about them as all were public figures. Bill C was well known for his zipper problems. Nothing this girl could say would harm him. Money would insulate all the others. That Andrew made it worse for himself is another subject. True he would have shot himself in the foot in court with his stupidity.

In retrospect, given the Andrew problem and the Harkle problem, it is amazing that TQ made it to the Jubilee.

Tbh I’m fuming that all the other morally demented entitled people are getting away scot free ! Andrew may be as guilty as hell but at least there has been some retribution and humiliation for him.

Half my garden belongs to a Duke. He won't let me buy the one acre because it must be passed down through his precious blood-line along with another 47,999 acres. He lives an hour away in the capital and always has (unlike our neighbouring duke who's one of the richest men in the UK).

Seems like a very small ask for all their good luck just to make sure they're not buying or engineering babies.

I dunno, I kind of think the opposite is true that if they had taken a more open minded approach to widening the gene pool when necessary we would have fewer moronic petit tyrants in our midst.

I mean even Julius Caesar adopted an heir rather than relied on his own progeny.

Also I don’t think anyone can see Harry and not wonder whether all those dynastic relative marriages past might have made his brain as well populated as his hair line. :graucho:

I concur with that for sure there is very little justice in any of it.

We, the everyday people, will never know very much about any of it I think.

1. No official BP announcement of pregnancy - it was via leak at E’s wedding, no firm date. Ok, but this is typical MM stuff - control the. Narrative
2. Messed up birth announcement , unsigned by BP. No solid date
3. Moonbump-palooza, photoshopped ???
4. Odd posturing when pregnant, squatting
5. Delivery doctor was named but bogus ??
6. Where did birth take place ?? Portland ???
7. Entire account in SPARE, nitrous
8. Down under trip while Zika raging !
