I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Even if they suspected, would they have dared challenge it? Think of all criticism and pushback they got over much more minor issues than that.

When you are dealing with someone who has zero respect for your authority, you figure out pretty quickly that you’ve lost control of the situation. That’s the position BP has been in ever since Meghan came on the scene.

That speech is such a head-scratcher for me.
Not sure if it's another round at the MM word salad buffet, or if crux really means something else in english...?
To me it means either hardship/cross to bear or problem/difficulty and I don't think either of these meanings would make a fitting introduction to that schmaltzy speech.

This makes sense. Anyone who was interested got it right away. There’s nowhere to go but down.

Heart is a synonym for crux, as in heart of the matter. That would have been more appropriate for her speech blathering about their true love, but she used crux because she always wants to come off as the smartest person in the room.

Yes.... Maybe Charles decided to ignore it, if he ever doubted something, since it's practically impossible for Harry's kids to become direct heirs to the throne (they are technically but the whole Wales' family would have to be wiped out, God forbid) Having just finished reading Courtiers VL does say that Charles tends to stick his head under the sand and doesn't like to confront problems. In any case, besides the appearing/disappearing moon bumps the most suspicious thing imo is the BP incomplete notice that announces Archie's birth, as we saw a few pages back in this thread.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see: someone is bound to spill the beans sooner or later!

Interesting that's way more neutral and still makes sense from latin crux = cross to heart of the matter or what lies at the core...

Said before, Hazza is unemployable (zero skills) and as many here have pointed out the BRF did a good job of creating the lovable rogue persona which is what his appeal was based on
Without the BRF lacquer Hazza has nothing of any value to offer

I do find it odd that the royal family is ignoring the commentary about the fake pregnancy. They must be aware of the controversy. They have at their disposal ways to investigate this. The line of succession as a matter of public interest and it is not something that can be easily ignored by King C.
