I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I question how many times the family actually saw her whilst she was pregnant. Did she ever have “mommy” discussions with Catherine or Sophie? I doubt it very much. It probably would never cross their minds that she would do something so unthinkable as to fake it or even wear a fake bump to enhance her size. I am sure she did the fake bump because she didn’t think what she had going was attention getting enough.

I doubt they saw her much. And, if they did, their eyes were probably so worn out from rolling that they could not focus on her bump.

Wouldn't a tailor have seen proof of Claw's pregnancy? Or does that further explain why her clothes never fit because she didn't want any tailor near her? And by not tailoring anything, it made it easier to return every outfit that Charles wouldn't pay for.

We know for sure she used her own OB, and the fit of her clothes sure indicated that she did not use a tailor. We know she sews because Harold Said So, so its a pretty fair guess that neither doctor nor tailor was anywhere near her.


As for the royal family not doing anything about it.... I have a feeling they knew or suspected there was something amiss. But a cost/benefit analysis probably led them to believe that kicking that particular beehive, particular given the Queen's condition and Phillip's passing, was not worth the trouble. They could always save it for a moment when if was actually required --- meaning if the kid(s) were anywhere near the throne. As it stands, Harry is pretty far removed, since there is William, George, Charlotte, and Louis ahead of Harry. Then the Montecito kids. George will marry and have kids I am sure, pushing Harry even further down. He may as well be on the moon at this point.

Pressing the issue with H&M would have started a media firestorm, and made Herself even more of a martyr and touchstone for a bunch of controversy. Our instincts are to get to the bottom of things, but I always put myself in KC's position, and I keep thinking, what would the point actually be? Particularly if they already know. For the sake of the Monarchy its always better to stay the course and not get distracted by individual members and their nonsense, even if it is as serious as what people are suspecting with this pregnancy rumor.

I dont think it makes the BRF look weak. They have a job to do, and playing whack-a-mole with rumors is not in their job description, regardless of how serious.

If, heaven forbid, the Montecito kid(s) move up the line of succession, that would be the time to pull back the covers on this mess, not before.

Yes, there was a leak at E's wedding, and there was a formal announcement, not by BP but by KP. The RF will never give a firm date, they'll always say something like due in the spring, or whatever season.

I do find it odd that the royal family is ignoring the commentary about the fake pregnancy. They must be aware of the controversy. They have at their disposal ways to investigate this. The line of succession as a matter of public interest and it is not something that can be easily ignored by King C.

If they haven't acknowledged any of H's claims in the show or the book I can't see how they would publicly comment about this. But what is going on behind the scenes could be a whole different matter. We just engage in speculation for entertainment purposes here.

I am inclined to believe MM gave birth to Archie, not so sure about Invisibet. It would have been easier to hide a fake pregnancy during lockdown. I recall actress Jessica Biel telling a reporter that it wasn't difficult keeping her second pregnancy a secret while holed up at their Montana ranch during 2020. Being the manipulative control freak that MM appears to be, it may simply be that she didn't want royal doctors, hospitals, announcements, pictures. She could have persuaded Harold (and herself) that they were better parents by shielding their children from the prying eyes of the public and media, unlike his brother and SIL who exploit their kids for royal photo ops. But I agree, it is all very suspect.

My thoughts are, if you are subject to a monarchy/nobility that's run on bloodlines, the least they can do is stick to the damn rules.

The nobility and royalty run the gaff based on how they're bred so much better than the rest of us, let them produce au natural or die out and we'll divi-up the 'spoils'.

Half my garden belongs to a Duke. He won't let me buy the one acre because it must be passed down through his precious blood-line along with another 47,999 acres. He lives an hour away in the capital and always has (unlike our neighbouring duke who's one of the richest men in the UK).

Seems like a very small ask for all their good luck just to make sure they're not buying or engineering babies.

To be honest I was surprised - and not in a warm, fuzzy way - when the Belgians made their former king's middle aged love child a princess, even though I fully believe in children not having to pay for their parents' mistakes.
