I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I have always thought it was about control and pulling the wool over the eyes of the people in importance. There is a sick satisfaction that many people enjoy from this. Skirt around the truth and keep 'em guessing. That skirt-around eventually turns into their truth, which may not be the same as your truth, which is the actual truth of the matter but that doesn't matter because it is only their truth that matters. Have I lost you yet? Eventually it all becomes their own private joke. The private joke has been an earmark of the way these two have presented themselves as a couple. Little urban dictionary innuendos were particular favorites. Roast chicken anyone? How very cute that it doesn't take much to give them their jollies, until it doesn't and hurts other people.

During her pregnancy with Archie, I was team surrogate. Too many things were off.

But when she and H presented Archie to the media, she had put on weight (in her face and elsewhere), so I changed and thought she had given birth to Archie but padded her bump to make her look rounder and fool the press as to the actual day of birth. It would have been glee for her and Harry to do this (private joke + attention would fuel her narc impulses).

I did side-eye her wearing white in that photo /introduction of Archie though. No way would I wear white just after giving birth.

I am team surrogate for Lili because it’s easier in California to do this, everyone was in lockdown over Covid, and you only really saw her on Oprah (pregnant) and that leaked photo of her carrying Archie to daycare where he sat on her bump (again…side eyeing this pose). The birth certificate that leaked of Lili (to TMZ) looks faked.

The birth stories in H’s memoir do not make sense. At all. Even if it was c-section, you do not eat. You are required to fast before surgery. The birth stories are total fiction.

As is the stories of her breast feeding. Nope. She flew to see Serena play when Archie was very young baby and you cannot do that with breastfeeding. If you breastfeed, your life works around the baby’s schedule.

And for both kids MM has never leaked a photo of herself in the hospital, looking exhausted having just given birth, with the IV still in your arm etc. All mums have that photo.

And she never shared horror stories of giving birth. Odd.

So I agree - all of the “did they”/ “didn’t they” surrogate makes them happy because of the attention. Both of them feed on attention. It’s an ongoing internal joke. And kind of sick. Because H had to deal with the “Hewitt your real father” growing up, and now his kids will have to deal with “your mum didn’t give birth to you” stores. So sick and twisted.

Nobody cares if she had a surrogate except that it matters if she wants her children included in the line of succession. And she really does and more. If the palace has rule on what constitutes LOS it should be for Markle to confirm she followed protocol (given the many indication she did not).

If they used a surrogate, they missed an excellent opportunity to modernize the monarchy by fighting for equal rights for children regardless of how they were born imo.

I've no idea if she used or not a surrogate. Though, weight gain could be easily explained by induced lactation imo.

Besides, when traveling on public transport, when I give up my seat for a someone noticeably pregnant or wearing a 'Baby on Board' badge, I don't ask for evidence or a doctor's note. And as you know, I have a suspicious nature .

Would you want to cross-question Meghan on pregnancy or anything she tells you?

Alarm bells rang due to my hearing about the difficulties faced by at least 4 friends in their mid-30s-40s in conceiving and carrying to full-term as first-time parent. The ease and timing of H&M's pregnancies were not only convenient but almost miraculous. M's weight gain on such an obviously quite vain and obsessed-with-appearences person almost had me convinced. The squatting and bounce up at visits, I thought looked weird (but I've never been pregnant).Suspicions were heightened after the fishy, murky and ultra-secretive birth-circumstances around Archie (and Lil) the wording on the announcement of A from BP, the timeline (that just doesn't work - with miscarriages too) Mills & Boon PS composite photos of en famille that really turned alarm bells tinkles into deafening air-raid warnings.

For others, it's only idiosyncratic photographic evidence along a timeline, and corroborated statements on impossible activities from other pregnant women that have made many more suspicious. As someone recently posted, the Palace was alerted by the vigilant public.

Can someone tell me why, what and how Moonbumps and similar contraptions are made and used for in the ordinary way? Are they used like those babies given to teens at some schools so that adolescents won't have early pregnancies?

Totally agree that it would be easy to fool the palace, but in order for them to pull this off, Harry had to be totally complicit and on board. That's the most disturbing part of all this. I can see TW having no problem pulling a fast one on the BRF, but this seemed to be the beginning of the end for Hazz.

If they dont want to work as royals. Want a “private” life (ha, they have the paps on speed dial). Etc etc. why would they care whether their kids are born from TW’s womb or a surrogate? For the titles/birthright? The same birthright they dragged through the mud and then again for good measure stomped all over?

Not many brides make speeches at their own receptions. Why am I not surprised TW had to blow out her word salad/piece of hot air fluff?

It weirdly reminds me of my rehearsal dinner night. My MIL is actually very talented and dramatic and would drag FIL into doing skits with her. The night of our dinner, as people were making toasts, they both got up and acted out a poem she wrote for hubby and I. It started off, “He from the East, and she from the West”.., and gave a beautiful, poetic rundown of how DH & I met and a bit of our relationship together. They took turns saying the lines. MIL said the ones that pertained to me, FIL said those about my husband to be. It was from the heart, and absolutely touching. I wish we’d had iPhones back then because sadly, it’s only left in my memory and on the copy MIL had written down for me.

Considering how she arrived at Eugenie's wedding and stole her thunder, IMO she wasn't beneath using and manipulating moon bumps while actually pregnant to purposely invite speculation and continue the speculation well after the births. She is indeed that vile, mean, fame whoring, and disgusting.
