I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Totally agree that it would be easy to fool the palace, but in order for them to pull this off, Harry had to be totally complicit and on board. That's the most disturbing part of all this. I can see TW having no problem pulling a fast one on the BRF, but this seemed to be the beginning of the end for Hazz.

I believe Sparry was easy to bring on board all her schemes. If he was as resentful as appears in his memoir, then all she had to do was agree with him whining, amplify his insecurity and slyly insert her ideas. He would have been thrilled to find a gf so understanding of his life of hardship.

It still baffles me.

If they dont want to work as royals. Want a “private” life (ha, they have the paps on speed dial). Etc etc. why would they care whether their kids are born from TW’s womb or a surrogate? TW’s greatest achievement is marrying a prince. Second is ability to maintain spotlight.

And if Zed enhanced a small bump with a moonbump or went the surrogate route, I can see Sparry coming on board and considering it to be a well-deserved middle finger to his family and the Brits.

Yeah, it’s a 69% decrease. Can’t be more than 100%, because that goes negative. 629 x .69 = 434 is the drop. So the new number of sales is 629 - 434 = 195 , which is the new sales figure given.

It weirdly reminds me of my rehearsal dinner night. My MIL is actually very talented and dramatic and would drag FIL into doing skits with her. The night of our dinner, as people were making toasts, they both got up and acted out a poem she wrote for hubby and I. It started off, “He from the East, and she from the West”.., and gave a beautiful, poetic rundown of how DH & I met and a bit of our relationship together. They took turns saying the lines. MIL said the ones that pertained to me, FIL said those about my husband to be. It was from the heart, and absolutely touching. I wish we’d had iPhones back then because sadly, it’s only left in my memory and on the copy MIL had written down for me.

I went to a wedding where the bride gave a speech. It was long, boring and idiotic. They lasted through two kids and his working in the business the wife started and owned after being funded by her parents. They are divorced

Is surrogacy legal in the UK?​

This can make it difficult for intended parents and surrogates to find one another, but also for the non-profit making organisations in the UK to grow their numbers of surrogates.
• It is also a criminal offence for a third party organisation to receive payment for arranging a surrogacy journey although there are some exemptions for non-profit making organisations.
• Finally, it is a criminal offence for organisations to match or broker surrogacy arrangements in the UK (this is the case even if it is an international surrogacy agreement). While there has not been a prosecution under this offence, it does mean that lawyers are not able to draft or negotiate the terms of a surrogacy agreement.

Can a surrogate decide to keep the baby?​

In England and Wales, the surrogate will continue to be the legal mother of the child until such time as a parental order is obtained. A parental order requires the surrogate’s consent. This means that at any point up until a parental order is granted, the surrogate could decide to keep the baby. In practice this could mean the surrogate refusing to allow the baby to leave hospital with the intended parent or parents.

"Ultimately this legal position means that as intended parents you will not be fully recognised as your child’s legal parents at birth, and so you will need to apply for a parental order once your child has been born."

Depends on which figures they're calculating from IMO.

RH put out (2 months of pre-order, give-aways, half-price, double-sends make up) ridiculous "fastest selling" book ever on the planet Zog in the first week (so that 8 weeks calculated in one week's figures). We also don't know sale or return or wholesale figures. If this figure included wholesale too, book stores' orders that can't do S&R counted as sales, when in fact the book store (B2B) was the buyer and not a real customer wanting the book (B2C).

Now they're (probably) just calculating the drop from the actual book number sold retail in ONE week bought by actual consumers/readers to the next.

Basically, there could be 2 sets of figures, and one story doesn't (necessarily) follow the other.
