Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

Say Harold wakes up tomorrow morning and wants out.
What would his game plan be?
Stay in Cali near his kids or try to get back with the BRF as a Senior Royal?
I bet Meghan has had a potential exit plan in place from the beginning. She has probably tweaked it a few times as circumstances have changed. Harry is not a planner. He won’t have a clue.

Haha, are you suggesting the use of cheek pads, socks and gloves?

I still think that induced lactation is a lot more realistic. One can best flaunt high heels and diamonds.
Honestly I have no idea. I wouldn’t put anything past these two. I don’t think she’d be the kind to induce lactation though. She’s much too vain for that. Plus, if she had actually breastfed, we’d have heard about it ad nauseum. She’d be lecturing people on it’s benefits, as if she’s the first woman to breastfeed her child.

Yes, and I thought she definitely looked postpartum when they presented Archie to the world, where she was wearing the sleeveless coat dress. And not all women get swollen ankles. I've seen third trimester photos of Catherine and she did not appear to have them.
I always thought that was an odd choice to wear for a post partum body. Nevermind the fact that it was white, but the sleevless, belted look....almost as if she wanted everyone to see how "swollen" she was. The post partum bump was way too high on her body, and as others have said before, very easy to appear swollen if you are taking lactation hormones. She did not appear the least bit swollen at 8 1/2 months in her high heels

could the bump appear higher due to her figure - being short waisted?

Very possible, but…

One of her top 10 worse fashion choices. Ugly overpriced dress. Shows off her bad underwear and whatever lumpy layer she has around her belly. Proof that she has zero fashion sense.

According to the DM (who waaaay undervalued a Valentino coat at £600) her Haute Couture Dior kaftan cost "as much as £90,000". Well, Dior Haute Couture often starts at £100,000 a pop for evening and bridal so I think that's an underestimate.*

Even at £90K, that's a flat (apartment) in some places in Scotland. To look that bad wearing French Haute Couture (the only official kind) is kinda hard. She literally has a gift for making expensive look cheap.

*I think the last time the DM did any research on French designer and HC prices must have been 1998 or completely guessing
