Price Increase Update

I'm contemplating on getting a Lindy 26 before month end but wondering if they will increase the price. If they keep the Lindy 26 at $7.1K there is no rush to settle for a color that I'm not crazy about.
I posted back here that the Lindy was $6950 early last year but towards the end it had gone up to $7100. No guesses as to whether the price would remain the same. Only time will tell. ;)

That said, no point in buying a bag just because of the price if it doesn't make your heart sing anyway. You'll likely end up wanting to rehome it, so that's something to think about.

Does anyone have any news or confirmation about bag prices in the US? I’ve been thinking of buying another Evelyne for a while but didn’t feel any urgency. If the price is going up, that will definitely prompt me to consider buying this week!

My SA said she said Monday, Feb 4 in my store is the start of the price increase on the bags. She did say ALL but then it's Hermes. Anything can happen!

Do we know for sure that prices are going up on Feb 4 for bags? The prices did come down slightly for some shoes. I wonder if this will be the case for bags too...
This conversation was specific to bags. I also had this conversation with the SM in Dec and she mentioned bags prices were going to increase since the US hasn't seen a increase in a few years.

According to my local boutiques they will credit you the price difference within 14 days if price goes down, but definitely won’t charge you the previous lower price if indeed goes up... Please double check with you local boutique SAs for their pricing adjustment policy and methods of refunds before purchasing the item(s).

Thank you both for the info! :flowers:

I heard Feb 4 will have an increase as well, but not necessarily all bags. I heard rumors on some even going down, but that is really just rumor.

Guess we will find out soon..,your rumor makes logical sense unless H wants to increase the difference between European and US prices even more...
I can see them getting away with increasing prices for B/K/C a bit maybe because you can’t go to Europe and be guaranteed one of these.
However less coveted, more readily available bags are already far more expensive in the US.

One simple example:
Mini Verrou: US: $8000+ tax will cost $8400-8800 in the US. In France it’s €5500 or $6281 BEFORE any vat refund! That’s already a huge difference. I hope they don’t want to ripoff US customers to the point that flying to Paris to get the bag might cost less!

I did that for my bolide 35 and Kelly wallet difference paid for the whole trip.
