Some companies absorb some of the cost to remain competitive. H has no reason to and the tariff increases on top of their annual increase where they marked things up considerably. 😬😬😬

I saw your post about this. Could the price increase be due to the fact that the bag was a verso?I think the quota bag increased already. My friend got her K25 epsom yesterday for $13,500 plus tax. Is it $12,600 at the beginning of the year? If so it is 7% increase.
Is a verso more $$? My first is a verso and I *believe* when I checked the price it was the same as the regular bag listed in the price thread. (Good chance I am very wrong). Also. If it’s true they are already charging more it feels a little gross to me. As if there’s no loyalty back to the customer. And the fact that the price increase is unlikely to go away even if tariffs end. It all feels bad.I saw your post about this. Could the price increase be due to the fact that the bag was a verso?
The corporate messaging clearly states that the tariff increases will start "beginning of May". I'm not sure why your friend's bag was more expensive (one of the reasons why telephone game on this can be tricky) but the price difference she reports is not the tariffs.I think the quota bag increased already. It’s hard enough to get bags at our home stores. Are we really going to start traveling to areas we have no relationships and actually get bags? That seems unlikely. People who already have SAs in other countries are lucky and I imagine they’ll shift their spending. Will this just mean people will travel more to Europe and other regions to shop for cheaper Hermes?
as I know, just like special order, you won't pay extra if you do verso/multico.I saw your post about this. Could the price increase be due to the fact that the bag was a verso?

If not tariffs then what is it? 2024 K25 epsom is $11,300 then 2025 increased to $12,600 and now $13,500. It is 7% increase each time. The corporate messaging clearly states that the tariff increases will start "beginning of May". Thank you for verifying. Yes, madame is a bit more expensive than Epsom.I just looked at the receipt and it is in Madame leather, not Epsom. Could be the price of Madame. Sorry for the confusion!!
Certainly if they can. It’s 30 % cheaper, excluding state sales tax you would pay at home. With VAT and even with customs (and it’s my very layman understanding tariff is on import value* not retail ) it’s still worth it. . .assuming you are traveling anyway. And, the buy at FSH is very different than my home maison. Even my local SA understands, though, until this year, my local spend far outweighed that of FSHWill this just mean people will travel more to Europe and other regions to shop for cheaper Hermes?
