My SA told me that we're going to be hit hard with price increase due to our free-falling dollars :(

Oh my, ouch... hitting us while we're down, then?
Can't say I'm surprised. Just looking around at necessities, like produce, is painful. Have you seen the price of cauliflower lately?? makes you want to swear off entire food groups, lol.

Just hope the prices aren't >10% <<sigh>>

Please let me know if you hear anything more and I'll do the same. Thank you!! :smile1:

It would definitely make sense if Canada had a big price increase, if H is aiming to harmonise its prices globally :hrmm: The Aussie dollar has been falling too and the CAD is currently exactly on par with the AUD, but the prices of H in Australia are 10-20% higher than in Canada.

E.g.
90 scarf is $AU680 but only $CA460 (around $CA520 with tax)!!! :faint:
140 shawl is $AU1,805 but only $CA1,370 (around $CA1,550 with tax)! :faint::faint:
29 Evelyne is $AU4,335 but only $CA3,590 (around $CA4,060 with tax)
Bearn wallet is $AU3,550 but only $CA3,080 (around $CA3,480 with tax)

(Prices based on 13% CAN tax, mostly rounded up. AU prices already include tax)

The difference between the prices in B/Ks and precious jewellery is even crazier, it makes me want to cry!!

So even if Canada had a 10% increase, many of your prices will still be cheaper than here in AU. So it could always be worse (i.e. you could live in Australia haha). On the other hand, I wish I could come to Canada for a shopping trip!

Does australia charge taxes separately or is it already in? In canada taxes are added on separately. tax in my province is 13%. Although I guess it still works out to be slightly cheaper.
