Oh, I guess eventually all my heavier Legacy bags will probably peel their sealant, too. Hooray for do-it-yourself sealant repairs, huh? Take care & have a great day.

This is a great thread I have a White that I sent to Coach for repair. If they can not fix it I am so trying this.

My advice is make sure you stir the sealant good then just go for it, apply it with a toothpick. Don't worry. It turned out so good. To this day I look at the repair and I can't even tell there was a problem. It looks PERFECT.

I'm planning to use this on one of my Legacy bags that Coach was not able to repair.
My question for the Queen:
How long does it take to dry? You said that it was still a bit "tacky" for a few days? I ordered this and will receive it soon, but really wanted to use the bag on Saturday... If I receive it by tomorrow & apply it, do you think I'll have a problem if I use the bag on Saturday (about 2 full days to dry)?

^^Hello kells! The answer is to just let it dry overnight and for good measure, half of the next day so about 16 hrs. and it will be fine! It doesn't smear or smudge. I found it very easy to work with. You'll be able to use your purse again before too long.
On another unrelated note, I read that Fiebings Edge Kote can be thinned out with just water. So if you have a bottle stored for some time and it gets thickened, just use water to thin it again.

Hey guys! I'm a newbie to this forum and was hoping to get some advice on my Coach Madison Isabelle?
She's got some of the sealant coming off and some cracks, I was wondering if the Edge Kote would be okay for the cracks but also wanted to know how I would go about applying the Edge Kote to the main strap that seems to just be peeling off.
Should I remove that part all together or just apply around it so it sticks back down? Really don't want to make matters worse!
