Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

That's from what I've seen as well. I've never seen a fake MiU. All the bags I've had authenticated or have looked at myself, the fakes are always stamped MiF. I think they are aware people would like their LV MiF so by putting that MiF there, they're hoping it could pass for the real thing.
In all my years I have only see one fake MIUSA bag (speedy of course) and I was very surprised for the reasons you mentioned above. AND some people don't even want real USA bags, so stamping it on a fake makes no sense!

Because of this I usually prefer USA bags when I buy pre-LVoed, odds are good that it's authentic. When I buy new, I do ask for MIF, if they don't have it, USA is fine. I don't delay my purchase just to seek out MIF. They are becoming more difficult to acquire in the states anyway.

Most of mine are made in France. I do prefer them since it is a French Company but I have several from USA and Spain as well. I haven't noticed anything with the quality difference but the MIF hold the value better and sell higher on the pre-loved market!

At first, I wasnt thrilled my first LV was made in the US. I'm born and raised here, but it threw me off since I assumed all were made in France. However, now that I'm more educated about LV, I'm actually proud my first came from here. Quality still remains superior no matter where my pieces have come from, so no complaints.

Honestly, an LV is still an LV! When I got my first LV bag, I didn't even bother to check where it was made. I live in the US, so I think most bags will be made in the US. I recently got a speedy and it's made in the US, and I think the quality is the same everywhere. Having a bag made in France, though, makes it a little more special. :p

I don't care . My Chanel bags are made in Italy, after all. The only reason I would prefer MIF is resale, since it's clear that many people prefer MIF. But I don't buy bags with the idea that I will be selling them down the road.
