At first it did bother me. But now it doesnt. Materials are the same thing. Bought this from Extravaganza store in Hong Kong. I think most of the Tessuto bags are now made in china. This is the BN4662 in ibisco (pink) color

Thanks for this thread. This is my first Prada, got it 4 months ago at Prada store at Changi Airport Singapore.. i actully wanted an LV Alexandra but got this instead when I was about to leave Singapore so this was a bit of an impulse purchase but I love it anyway  I've been wondering where to find the "Made in..." tag and I just found it! :shame: And it says Made in Italy! :yahoo: just one thing, I can't find the white tag with numbers on it yet though.. All bags have it?

My saffiano purse also made in italy and i cant find the white tag with number as well...:smile1:

So I've looked through every page to try and find where the made in tag is on the 1786 and cannot find it. I've turned my bag upside down, inside out and have only found the number tag which says '180'.

I got the bag in Paris only a few days ago and there is a mark on the leather.. My biggest issue is that I'm paying almost $2000 for this bag and its not perfect.

The only reason why I buy expensive bag is for it quality. If I can buy the same quality and style for a few hundred bucks, why wouldn't I?? My family have bought Prada for years. My grandmother has a Prada bag from 20 years ago and the thing still looks immaculate. Where has the quality gone? I don't mind if the bag is made in china or Italy or the side of the road for arguments sake. I care about the quality.

Look here, I took a photo of the tag in my BN2274. Maybe you also find it there. It is on the very left under the zippers in the wrinkle.

Mine came with a black mark on the front of the bag too, but I think it shows more character, lol. It will probably get scratched or marked up pretty quickly anyways.

I can't find a Made In or the white number tag in my Prada Br4391. Does that mean a bag is not authentic? Can anyone tell me where to find the tags or if they even exist because this bag is a few years old? I bought this bag from someone I know very well and I have authenticity cards signed by our local boutique. Help!

It doesn't bother me that it's made in china. The Chinese are obviously super skilled. Everything we Americans own are made there. Our iPod iPhones MacBooks etc. just the prices are ridiculous. We know they aren't paying them the same as they would craftsmen in Italy France etc.

I'm perplexed because I was in a boutique with my girlfriend when she purchased her double zip saffiano bag and the metal plate inside said "Prada Made in Italy". Her bag does not have a sewn in "made in tag" just the white numbered tag. I just looked at the same bag at Neimans and it says "Prada Milano" and does have a sewn in tag that says made in Italy. Do you think there is any rhyme or reason to this as they are both authentic? I'm thinking if I'm paying that much $, I want a metal tag that indicates Made in Italy. I'm thinking those are the ones truly made and assembled in Italy. Anyone else have thoughts on this?!
