It fits 4 pairs on each shelf. I like to place the right shoe facing forward and the left facing backwards showing off the beautiful red sole.

Definitely not what I'd call a solution, but it works temporarily. All my CLs stacked on top of the DBF's subwoofer in our family room. Nice touch, don't you think? Lol.

A lot of ladies took the Billy Bookcase route... I followed suit when I saw our lovely naked display her shrine....

A peek inside my closet...

Billy Bookcase on the bottom (5 shoes heel to toe on each shelf) with expandable racks on the top.

Hardly beauteous, but it does the job. My shoes don't fit in my teeny tiny closet, so most of them are on shelves in our hallway.

The sneakers to the right are my husband's.
