I'm in california so I haven't experienced cold weather with the Chalk yet. However, I did get color transfer on the chalk once from some jeans and all it took was wiping it with a slightly damp paper towel. I'm not worried about color transfer at all. I think the unique shade of the Chalk also means it won't look dirty in the same way that a bright white bag would.

Thanks for this comment.. I just ordered the Chalk..
I was concerned about color transfer but I think the bag will be purposeful for me & I still have
several weeks left of summer to enjoy it & will look forward to using it in the fall
The Neuf is also one of the few styles that discreetly has Polene on the side of the bag which
I personally prefer

I can't wait for your new bag to arrive. Could you please post a side by side pic with the Camel Neuf. I still can't decide to get chalk or camel

I'm wondering how chalk compares to coach's sort of ivory off-white color. I have a nice coach bag strap that would look good.

My bag arrived today & it is perfection. All the stitches lined up & beautifully crafted.
My bag to me is not reading any "grey or white tones" & to me it is a creamy ivory off white color
(as you describe @purly)
Very soft & in comparison to taupe the taupe to me reads taupe.
In a way these colors remind me of Armani & I used to refer to them as " no color colors"
as they are not seasonal & can be worn with tones of beige, taupe, greiges, winter whites, camels,
patterns & of course black, navy, brown
