So I recently purchased several Polene bags with the free shipping deal. I was not happy with the quality of two of them and returned them. Their website says once the returned item is received by them you will be refunded and that they try to do the refund within three days, but it may take as long as 15 days. Tracking tells me that they received my return 17 days ago. And today I finally get an email saying they have just received my return (completely incorrect) and that I can expect my refund in 15 days! This will make it well over a month of them having my returned items Before I am refunded.

I love bags and am generally pretty tolerant, but I really do find this completely unacceptable and it leaves me wondering if I will ever actually be refunded and how hard am I going to have to push for it.

After this experience I regret ever purchasing from Polene and would not do so again.

This has definitely confirmed that I need to remove this company from my consideration list. I hope it turns out well for you.

I think the Sept mini or Un mini with the gold chain straps make great evening bags. If you're looking for a clutch I think there's a larger wallet with a removable belt/strap in their SLG line.

I agree, the sept belt bag/long wallet would make a great clutch!

I have used the sept mini for evenings
and it’s perfect!

The beri also had a gold chain on the black or chalk bags.

Wanted to update this - the day after I got the email saying I would be refunded in 25 days, I received an email saying the refund had been processed and it had been. So although i still think their returns process is clunky and lengthy compared to other companies, in the end it was only a few days outside of the timeframe they give on their website.
