Hey I've bought this bag at the thrift store and interested if it's made by some cool vintage manufacture. The only thing on it to possible identify it it's logo and the patent number of the detail. Also it have a mirror inside. Thanks a lot on advance

I saw a lovely bag the other day but I can't track it down. Slouchy tote with shorter thicker handles so it fit nicely on a shoulder. Pebbled black leather with one exterior zippered pocket. Gold lettering on the bottom edge on the bag. It was rectangular though slouchy. Minimal hardware if any... Help!

Thanks. I also found the thread in Hermes forum and asked too. The response was also doubt on the authenticity, so I didn't get it at the end.

It still got me curious though, because from the looks, it is a vintage bag from 80s which the modern Aline we see now was not yet available. The bag structure and how the knots at the end of the strap are exactly the same style as the Aline. So just to see anyone knows more about it ☺️

I have posted a while ago about the same model in black in @docride ‘s thread on repair - seemed authentic but didn’t do proper authentication….

Hi! I found this vintage leather Fossil bag at a local thrift store. I am having a hard time finding a comp to value it. Does anyone know what the style name would be on this?
It is missing the shoulder strap.
The leather interior tag says Fossil 1954 # 75802. The other small tag says "Made in Indonesia" and on the other side ZB9561.

Sometimes you can google the ZB number and come up with a style name. I did it but didn't find anything. 1954 was a line Fossil made for a short time with higher quality materials. It probably was originally priced higher but I don't think they sell for more these days. You can look at sold items on ebay to get an idea how much people are willing to pay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it! I already went down the eBay and Google Lens rabbit hole before finding this forum. I found one similar on Mercari, but it didn't have any detailed info. I can't find anything on eBay that is like this one, or that has the patterned fabric interior. Thank you for the info about the 1954 line, I did not know that 😁. I am slowly learning about handbags.
