Hi everyone,

I recently found this vintage Jil Sander bag at a local flea market and I'm hoping someone here can help me identify the model or give me some insight into its origin.

The bag is made of black leather, with a structured, minimalist design.

It has a flap closure with a strap detail that appears to be embossed leather (possibly faux lizard).

There’s a debossed “JIL SANDER” logo on the front strap and also inside, above the inner zipper pocket.

The only tag inside is a leather one that reads “Made in W. Germany”.

The zipper is marked YKK.

The two small inner rivets are stamped “PRYM 4GB ORIGINAL”.

The main snap button is unbranded.

I believe it dates from the 1980s (pre-1990 due to the W. Germany mark), but I haven’t been able to find the exact model online. I’d love to know:

Any idea about the name or release year?

Was this part of a specific collection or limited run?

How rare is it?

Any idea of its resale value?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I can share more photos if needed.
Thank you in advance 💛

Purchased in Venice at a secondhand shop. Can anyone possibly give me info about it? Chat gpt says probably vintage 1950s. Thanks!

Hi! I’m looking for help identifying and potentially authenticating a vintage handbag I own. It's unbranded but appears to be extremely high quality, possibly from a French or Belgian luxury house.

✨ Details:

Material: Appears to be genuine crocodile or alligator skin — the texture and shine are very refined and not printed leather.

Hardware: Gold-tone; very solid and well-crafted.

Closure: A side-mounted gold tab releases a mechanical clasp that opens the bag — a very unique and rare feature.

Interior: Black satin-like lining with an internal gold frame closure system.

Zipper: Marked ÉCLAIR, a zipper brand known for being used by Hermès, Moynat, and Delvaux in the mid-20th century.

No branding anywhere visible, inside or out.

I'd love any insights from collectors, experts, or anyone who might recognize the design or construction style.

Thanks so much in advance!

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a beautiful Jimmy Choo bag and I’m trying to identify its exact model and collection.

Details:

  • Color: Black
  • Shape: Small hard clutch / box shape (possibly acrylic or patent leather)
  • Decoration: Fully covered with crystals/rhinestones, arranged in a unique pattern of fastened circular elements (rings)
  • Hardware: Top handle (possibly detachable)
  • Comes with a Jimmy Choo authentication card, but no model number is visible
I have attached detailed photos of the bag for reference.
It seems different from the “Candy” or “Cloud” clutches I’ve seen — the crystal pattern is much more intricate, almost like interlinked rings.

I would appreciate any help identifying:

  1. Exact model name/number
  2. Original retail price (USD/EUR/GBP)
  3. Year or collection it belongs to
Thank you so much for your time and expertise!
